So I will now be in the hunt for my Gorgar backglass but before I shell out $$$....

Do repo's use the same painting method as the original?
Will the repo's eventually chip away in time?
Or is something new done so it can last longer than an original?

I'm trying to weigh an original (if ound) with chips $100 vs a $300 repo.

Repo BGs are still made by silkscreening (although digital ones are made too).

Although still fragile, your repo will never be sitting in an unheated garage, left on 24/7 or baked by #44 bulbs; so unless you do something stupid (like keep it in the garage), it should outlive you.
