I checked the batteries and replaced them with fresh ones. I've inspected the battery holder and there is no evidence of corrosion.

Every time I turn on my neighbors Getaway it states that Factory Settings have been Restored and asks that I set the date and time. Setting the date and time does not solve the problem as it does the same thing the next time I turn it on.

I had the same issue with my Getaway about a month ago after I replaced the batteries. Every time I cut it off it would reset. I switched the new batteries out and put in newer batteries and for some reason that solved it. Don't know why but at least I would try that.

Measure your voltage from the batteries with the game powered down.
They should be providing ~+5 volts dc on the board.

Be sure and measure that power is actually getting onto the board.

Thanks, I'll try that tonight!

Turns out it wasn't the batteries, but one of the battery slots on the onboard battery holder. I plan to install a remote battery holder as soon as I get them in, so for now, it was a matter of adjusting the negative terminal on the 3rd slot and all's well.

Game is FAST! Have to clean it up and we should have it for sale.
