Looks like no gameplay differences between the versions?

#3 1 year ago

Thanks for the update. Live soundtrack. Has that ever been done in a music pin?

I don't think so...just a lot of bling (and a shaker, I think). I do like the darker color of the Rhapsody edition better, though. And it looks like they tweaked the artwork a bit so Brian May doesn't have a head the size of a watermelon.

I want to break free …. from that backglass art!

I love this - really prevents other from selling fake Queen Pinball Machines

That would've been my first worry if I was PB! That is hilarious!

Very curious to see how this games plays, as the song list is pretty epic.

#10 1 year ago

Looks kinda like a Low BOM Toy Story type of pin with a sparse playfield

Sad that this is the direction the market is heading in

#11 1 year ago

Tie your mother down is missing. The artist is a minimalist by looks of the cabinet and glass.I do love the Band.

Just my opinion but the artwork is terrible, live songs versus studio masters is extremely disappointing, there's little involvement from the band, and there's a lack of mechanical features.

JJP's GNR continues to be the king of music pins IMO.

Ouch
Plus Shipping i assume

I think metallica and rush might argue that

Great games as well!

Dream theme for me. Hopefully someone does an in depth overview and a stream soon.

One thing for sure, it isn't going to be winning any Twipy awards for artwork.

Dear pinball manufactures,

Stand up targets are not a toy, saucers are not a toy, vertical up kickers are not a toy, orbit spinners are not a toy, ramps are not a toy. These are standard features people come to expect in a pinball machine. Toys are things like the moving ship in both Stern and JJP's Pirates, Smaug in Hobbit, the ball lock van with door on Turtles, the moving building in Godzilla, etc. Stop trying to artificially inflate the number of toys in games.

Really want to try it. I love Queen, so if the game is good -- would consider the Champions edition. Don't see the value in jumping up to Rhapsody.

I'm going to stay positive, so I hope it's at least fun to play. I do like Queen, but probably won't buy one unless it's really spectacular. I do wish PB the best and I want them to succeed as a manufacturer, so I hope it's a success for them.

Also, with what I've experienced on my wait for Alien, It'll be 2029 before it ships.

#22 1 year ago

I hope its good, need some gameplay videos first.

#23 1 year ago

Fan layout, very uninspiring. I hope I am missing something. Released without video footage, nowadays...very amateur. I really want to like this one, love the band.

Can someone please post a playfield photo or two?

#25 1 year ago

Why do the flyers not show a clean image of playfield. Really odd, it’s only the most important part of the game.

Who designed this layout? I would like a helicopter view of the playfield/shots.

It really is a dream theme for me, but i dunno if i want to be an early adopter. I have an alien sv and like it, but glad i waited for later runs. And its still got plenty of little things to tinker with.

This building /stage looks 3d printed to me. Maybe just a prototype? I love 3d printing but I feel like a production/cornerstone pin should have Molded/polished parts.

The shipping on this game is $995.

Looking for a whale to help finance my machine. You have until September 1st to contact me.

#32 1 year ago

This has always been my dream theme…..but I wanted Stern or Jersey Jack to do it. For a band as big as Queen they deserve much better artwork than this. Hope to see a video of it soon, interested to see how it plays. I think the biggest bummer about this is that I can never expect to see Stern or Jersey Jack do one….unless it wayyyyyyy later such as the repeats are for Kiss and GNR.

upper playfield.... barf, anything with upper playfield is a flow killer and makes any game a drag.

The final version here can best be thought of as a collab between Barry, myself, James Rees as 3D modeller, and Alexander Spohr at PB. It went through a lot of revisions and later refinements.

Am I the only one that thinks "Guns N' Roses Lite"? Queen is my favorite band. Maybe my expectations were too high.

You're going to get this with every music pin. No matter who made it, a Queen game would have ended up looking much the same. At the end of the day, the band and the licensors make the call on the art style, iconography and how it suits the image the band wants to project. In this case, it was everything to do with the '86 Magic Tour.

Oh well at least they put a real mini playfield in there and not an ipad with a playfield on it, take that JJP !

Seems Freddie Mercury was involved in the design

That’s true. I think more than anything it’s just that it’s not made here. Being a die hard for the band, nothing will ever live up to your expectations. Yes this is definitely themed toward the last tour, even though the video clips appeared to be from Montreal 1981. Maybe that was just for the display though and will differ now.

It's a great game for sure. I'm partial to IM but as anything in this hobbit...personal preference.

#46 1 year ago

That is a shit ton of stand up targets .The stadium looks cool ,I’m sure they’ll be a nice light show as the inner portion seems mirrored and says 3 different exits .Really hope a trailer comes soon .

I saw the playfield photos on their Facebook page and it looks really good! Well done to you and the gang!

I think these haters are really just hating.

It looks different. It looks fun. It looks like it's not the same old, yet a little old school, yet with different ideas, and well thought out.

I hope it plays well. I think it looks like it could have some good flow and the upper pf may be fun as well.

Only disappointed in not having Fat Bottomed Girls on the playlist. I was hoping it would be it's own mode! Hahaha

Y'all need to stop hating and look at it for what it is. It's OWN pin. From a very different band than any other band ever. From an up and coming pinball company. Utilizing new standards in the industry while not overdoing it.

I'm excited to play this. It's gotta be better than Rush! Hahahaha

#48 1 year ago

Great license to get. I can't stand the music myself.

#49 1 year ago

Looks good to me. Curious to see what will happen with all the people still waiting on Aliens if they are trying to get Queen out this year. Doesn't seem realistic.
