Quoted from EDUB919:What keeps people with Stern insider connect in their home from taking the glass off and setting high scores? The best answer would be dignity but we all know how that works. The only advantage of Wi-Fi on a pin at home is over the air code updates..who’s with me??
wi fi updates still take
Quoted from moat-pin:Sorry way behind here but I got same message same day. Got one yesterday upon asking for update that said “in next 30 days”. So basically it’s “2 weeks” from Total Recall.
I been emailing Cointaker with no response wondering when my queen will ship. Crazy taking so long on a game I was guranteed to get in 2022 because I paid in full. I was given the same 15-30 day email previously.

Let's hope the pictures of games being loaded into containers were bound for the US. And don't get me started about the updates. I was promised one, then they never followed up. Waiting for the game was so much easier when people were saying it sucked. Now that everyone's saying it's a lot of fun, it's making it a real slog waiting to get mine. (And thinking of the people that just bought one outright off the floor at TPF...)

Better off letting them work the kinks out. In same boat with you. Ferret is on the code so you know it’s gonna end up being worth the wait
Make sure you file a ticket for that broken metal bit.
Audio has been improved in every update so far, and will continue to do so.

Absolutely fantastic news, a music pin HAS to have well integrated, high quality audio to be successful nowadays. Seems like this is on the right track.
#72 all setup!!!
Absolutely beautiful game in person. I have only played a few games on it.
I quickly remembered to take off the blue plastic on the lit side blades.
I am trying to update to current code but it keeps rejecting my USBs. I own an Alien and dealt with this on updating that game but so far Queen isn't liking my USBS.

I read your post and the blue plastic on the side blades made me go “wait what”? Yep, had to remove mine. I had no idea. Lol
Quoted from Aflacjack:I read your post and the blue plastic on the side blades made me go “wait what”? Yep, had to remove mine. I had no idea. Lol
Hahaha I only knew this because ummmm well I had no idea on Alien until about 8 months later. Lol
Well 50 games in and finally finding a USB the game liked I upgraded to I believe code .91.
Love the changes in code .91
Game has been flawless so far. Artwork on the playfield is absolutely stunning. I love the attention to detail. Translite and side decals in person don't bug me at all ( I will admit I hated what I saw from the reveal).
The modes are simple to understand and pretty clear on what to do. I'm excited to see where this game goes with future code updates.
My only gripe or I hope the change is .... I feel like there is all this audio that is fighting for space and it sounds like a bunch of my kids yelling at me for my attention. I love my Rush and I believe Stern mastered this very well. I can already tell with .91 that PB is aware and making changes to help. The Piano keys and a few other switch noises could be a lot less IMO. However I greatly appreciate that PB is trying to load the game for us.
Well done Pinball Brothers.
Little update for those of you waiting for your machine. My repair kit came in via Fedex and all is well with the auto launcher assembly.
My spinner issue on arrival (bent would not spin well and hit the plastic on the right side) was resolved using an off the shelf Stern spinner. The Stern version is a perfect replacement and rips as it should (available at pinballlife.com). The framing of the spinner bracket footprint is the same and the framing is bent at slightly different pressure points for a more square finish. The main difference is the spinner itself is more robust and metal shaft enters and exits at the same point on each side. Ill add a picture post later. Also I would recommend using thicker #6 screw when you swap it out.
Still loving this game just dialing in the power on the coils have been a trick. Left side flipper to center ramp still shoots over the ball lock area and out into the pop area even at -10%. Also the center magic scoop worked best for me at -15% with less ball trap from bouncing around.
Quoted from HOOKED:Cracked a billion for the first time. Didn't collect all of the instruments or plan red special but played autograph multiball. Still digging it
[quoted image]
Saw it at Allentown but didn't play it...just watched others play with my ear to the speaker to hear what was going on. Looked impressive and seemed to shoot well minus a few questionable clunkers that could be fixed with coil adjustments. Show games are never perfect so I'm not worried. Thanks for the updates while I patiently await my game. At least I got a Queen Pinball shirt at the show!
Decided I wanted an external volume control. I had some leftover PRmod ones.(can be bought here on pinside). Used a 1inch hole saw bit and boom up and running. Also installed my number plate.

Quoted from whiteyjfm:I think you broke this thread by drilling a hole into the cabinet. lol
That did take some serious balls. I'm still sitting in stunned silence.
Someone needs to 1up him by drilling a hole in the playfield. Perhaps install a spinning pizza disc or pop bumper between the flippers.
PR Mods does not condone the drilling of cabinets to fit our pinball switch...but officially crowns Nick customer of the year for his dedication to our product!
Just posted on FB on the PB page that I hadn't gotten my Rhapsody yet after almost a year. They responded back that all Rhapsody orders should have been shipped by June or July at the latest. Good news for those of you who are waiting.
I do feel like I've been skipped over for some reason. I ordered July 21st...anyone here with a later order that got theirs already? (They actually suggested there might have been a mistake in filling my order...)

I ordered August 2nd and no game yet.
7/24/23 ordered and paid.
I got an unsolicited email 3/23 saying 15-30days more info would come.
I email 30 days later for update when no response. Got a response. “30 more days”.
Super helpful

Same boat Boobie
Quoted from moixa:Hi all, got myself a Queen RE.
Currently, overshooting the closed Wembley lock quite often. Will try now with -10% on the left flipper as indicated by HOOKED above.
Is there a consolidated list of other setting suggestions anywhere?
Is it hitting the bracket at the entrance to the 3 opto entrance or is it jumping into the pops directly?
I fixed mine hitting the bracket by bringing the divertor inward making sure the arm has pressure on it while adjusting it. When the ball rounds that habit trail it has a tremendous amount of pressure forcing the arm back and guiding the ball right into that left side ball lock rail.
I still have ball hop over the inner rail at the lock if the ball comes in hot.
I think I have a fix but waiting to play the new code.
It's this:
Quoted from HOOKED:I still have ball hop over the inner rail at the lock if the ball comes in hot.
Better at -10%, however more difficult to not have it drop into the pops because it's too slow..
Also, the second time the left flipper spring broke. Any experience on this?
Pinball News reports that Pinball Brothers has stated they've caught up with all their backorders from June/July and are now taking orders for #500-750...which should ship within 6 weeks or so.
Nice.
But I still haven't heard about my machine ordered 7/21. Let's hope all this waiting will come to an end soon...

Your (and I’m presumably in similar window) delivery over under is Aug 31st. What’s your play?

Don't really understand your question. And I have nothing to play on since I don't have my game yet.
Gotta say...it's a little frustrating to pay for a game in July, be told it would be shipping in October, and then not see it nearly a year later. I knew it would be a wait, but this is starting to suck...
Okay...no more whining. I'll go back to playing my other games now.

Sorry wasn’t clear. I was trying to jokingly give you an over/under line like in sports betting. Said another way, do you think you’re gonna get your game before the end of August? Or sometime later? I think you and I are basically in the same timeframe in terms of when we ordered. And yes, I also be prepaid. Mentally though I’m still planning as if this is probably coming sometime late fall early winter.
The the one (I suppose) minor benefit is that I’m in the middle of moving to North Carolina so now I can have it delivered directly and won’t have to move it.

Gotcha. If PB isn't lying--and the jury is out on that--all Rhapsody Editions should be in owners hands this summer. I'm not holding my breath. Good luck with your move!

Thanks. This looks like it’s going to be fun. Not sure if it’s a couple months of fun and then I get bored of it or it has staying power we will see. I’m happy about the snappy flippers and although it’s a simple fan layout, he makes the point that there are a bunch a little diverter’s magnets posts, mid play field, drop targets etc. that hopefully make it feel more interesting. Has anyone made any comments here about the code? I tend to get bored with linear codes (I know some people like them which is fine), but it would be great if this thing was a little bit deeper. Either way, I’m ready to shoot it.
Code is quite deep, and not at all linear. Several unique rulesets across the 14 songs. Lots of choices for target and shot shooting to collect instruments, band member autographs, albums, posters, tour passes. Five main multiballs, some stackable. The Red Special multiball (locked and started on the upper playfield) offers the "do you want to defer the multiball for more balls and bigger points later -- but maybe miss out totally -- or will you cash in the multiball now?" dynamic, as well as balls-on-both-playfields multiball action. There's a frenzy, hurry-ups, different types of combos. And we're still improving the code.
It's the sort of game where you can just sort of shoot the blinking lights and have a great time, but if you want to be more deliberate about your play to maximize your score, there's lots of ways to do that.

Yes Sir. Left side flipper spring broke on game 137.
Waiting on my fix package.
New light shows on 1.0v is shaping up nicely. Few more bugs to go.
Please please please do the juke box mode on free play

This sounds awesome. Those may be the best games where you can have fun shooting the Blinky lights but also there’s a lot more underneath if you choose to explore. Thanks so much for your work on this and for posting your comments.

Never order a game at CGC ... that wait is ridiculous!
Hope you get your game soon !
Quoted from Ferret:Sure, I can add that as an option in a future release.
That would be great, thank you!
Queen is being delivered on Monday!
Hang in there Boobie, don’t give up.
Thx for the great sounding code Ferret. Looking forward to it
Got my invoice from Cointaker. I ordered 7/21/22. So, like Ice said, hang tight. Looks like they really are filling all the initial orders.

Mine showed up today. It’s real Boobie! Not gonna get to play it yet. Going out of town until after the 4th. Bummer
