Quoted from Shapeshifter:it's all really jarring, a real lack of cohesion with call outs cutting out the soundtrack.
Has great potential, but won't be a buyer until I see how much the code improves.
Yeah this is my main concern. I've watching Ghiandalf's video a few times, nothing seems to happen when you plunge the ball. The song starts and then you're just hitting random targets to collect letters and music notes. There's nothing (and no one) telling you to do anything. We're all used to early code these days but even with the sad state of Bond's code I can tell what my missions are, most are not programmed in yet but I understand what I'm doing. Queen feels like you're just hitting random things while listening to awesome music that's constantly getting cut off.
If Pinball Brothers would communicate something/anything to the community it would help. A simple Facebook post like: "hey guys we started shipping Queen, code is not even halfway done, we're planning on x/y/z, etc." But they have basically been silent on the state of this game for months and then suddenly start shipping them. Last week I saw people on their Facebook page still asking them for gameplay video, and PB's response was "go look up footage from Expo on youtube." That concerns me, that they are pointing people to bad Expo footage, a lot of which is people saying the game is not great.
I'll repeat I want this game to be great and I want Pinball Brothers to succeed. If anyone at PB is reading this.....a little communication would go a long way. Ghiandalf has given us more in a few days than Pinball Brothers have in months.
