Whew! Not crazy about the backglass, but the rest of the machine is gorgeous. Really impressed with the build quality of Alien, which is making me consider this game for sometime in the future. Can't wait to see more gameplay videos!

I'm a huge Queen fan... I want this title really bad however, I'll need to wait on sidelines till I can see & play it first.

Well...unlike a Stern, there's no chance of this game ever being out of stock. So take your time! I'm just a Queen nerd so I had to get one. I even got that overpriced Freddie doll the guy had on the other thread. There's a sucker born every minute...and I'm it.

There were a few of interesting tidbits of info on Pinball Brothers Facebook page over the last couple days, if you have Facebook you can go check it out directly, but for those who avoid Facebook like the plague here were the highlights from their end of year letter:

1) Pedretti and Pinball Brothers are forming Euro Pinball Corp. to help expand/improve manufacturing.

2) They are moving factories in early January, so production will be limited until second half of January.

3) Only a few Queen have been produced and sent to early adopters in Europe who specifically signed up to be early adopters.

4) They expect to have a large production run of Queen in January, my guess is latter half, after the factory move. Doesn't say, but my guess is that is the run where we will start to see them in North America.

That's great Ghiandalf congrats. So this update was mostly about bug fixes but the gameplay is the same? Or did you notice any gameplay improvements as well?

Thank you Ghiandalf! I hope you have been enjoying the game. And I sincerely hope Pinball Brothers have great plans for the rules/code. The layout looks like it could be fun, the music is awesome of course, the code is the main question now. In all the footage I've seen I don't see any real modes or immersion, but they must have things planned. It would be great if PB would communicate more, they've been very silent about the state of this game other than showing pictures of them being built and shipped.

So folks, I'm considering this pin... the Rhapsody Ed. not that... that matters based on my questions. So for folks with experience on Pinball Brothers Alien and where the company has gone and going?

1) Build Quality?

2) Reliability?

3) Will they continue with Code updates based on their past with Alien?

4) Overall thoughts from actual players/owners?

How does it play?

I’m a huge Queen fan and have been following this game for a while. We still have so little solid information I would hold off buying until we know more. Only a few people have this game, Ghiandalf was kind enough to start this thread and post his experiences. He’s given us more information than Pinball Brothers have since they announced the game July 2022. Queen still looks very very early, both in build quality and code. If you read through this thread you’ll see the issues Ghiandalf has had. I’m still hopeful the game will be good but right now I wouldn’t touch it. I wish PB would post something other than pictures of them building Queen. How about a video of gameplay? The gameplay Ghiandalf has kindly posted feels very underwhelming to me, if PB would tell us what they have planned it would go a long way. I’m not trying to be negative I want a Queen pinball machine in my house, but right now there’s no way I would buy this. I sincerely hope Pinball Brothers change my mind and I end up buying one.

That is "Rock Solid" advice! I've always loved Queen and suggested it be made many years ago.

I'm a big Rock Pinball guy as I own: GNR's DE / Tommy DE / Metallica LE (sold) / GNR's LE JJP / ACDC prem.

I'm on the sidelines in a wait and see mode... for the QUEEN pin to come alive.

But how has Pinball Brothers supported their other pinball machine... Alien? They've released updates in Dec. 2022 and Jan 2023 and are on 3.1 for game code. Are they well built units? Does the company continuously update the code on Alien? I feel this would help me understand them as a company.

Imagine if we would have all known about Netflix or Amazon, what their plan was ...LOL!. Sometimes you have to be the first.... I own LZEP and IMDN. for me LZEP is bolted to the floor I love every aspect... impartially the Magic Spinner. Many many folks hate the game, why I don't know. So for me, after growing up in the 60's/70's its the music the feel of a concert and of course I love the game play. IMDN is awesome but I really do not like the music (its growing on me) but it's Elwin so for now I'm keeping it. We, or I didn't anyway, know much of anything about my GZilla when I put money down on it... but it was Elwin so it was a safer bet.

I'm not buying it for the investment like many do... although I don't want to loose the money, but hell look at the Beatles pin now... it's a horrible game play IMHO... just Horrible. An it's crazy over priced.

Ghiandalf or ADNO any comments on the build quality and the sound quality would be very helpful my friends.

I have an Alien LV that has had 0 issues. A local friend has the Alien sv 0 issues.

If you read the Alien thread you can see over and over owners comment how great Pb customer service is.

Yes they will continue code updates. They and a couple others that are working on the game have mentioned there is so much more that will go into this game.

Only issue most of us have is we were told pay in full to receive the game by end of 2022. Either Cointaker lied to us or PB did. Either way 2022 came and went and absolutely no communication about when we will get our games. I know I learned a valuable lesson with Cointaker not to pay in full. Her communication has been shit. Pinball brothers plays it off as if they didn't ask for it and maybe so but it's their disturbutor so take some responsibility and make things right.

Stop playing delays on world events. Someone needs to stop over promising and take responsibility.

K rant over. In time the game as code improves it will be great. I am definitely not worried about their build quality, I'm not worried about code but like a broken record their communication or Cointakers communication is absolutely shit.

I own an Alien LV and the only issues I’ve had is small stuff that have all been taken care of promptly by PB .Sean is my go to state side and has been nothing but the best to deal with .I really want Queen (now that I have 100% confidence in this company ) and have flipped it at expo .Was real happy to see how smooth it shoots .I will 100% own another PB pin but right now I’m tapped and need to sell to buy. I’m more interested in their next themed pin as I’ve been told my grail is on the table at PB .Stay tuned Thanks for the pics it looks great !!! Can’t wait to see where code takes this one .

One thing , that stadium needs a paint job .I was wondering if the stadium has flashers inside it ? If not will not be hard to mod .I would love it if when the ball rolls through it ,flashers went off like the paparazzi taking pictures .Carry on , fantastic looks on this pin

Could not stand LZ and really like the Beatles. LZ is just a standard no frills layout and the artwork is photoshop crap for the cabinet and LE is just fugly to me. I am a big LZ fan but Ritchie let me down on it.

Beatles fits with the Seawitch playfield and looking like a pin from the 60’s. But the price was and is ridiculous.

Queen just looks so uninspired to me and the artwork is not great. I love Queen, but this is a huge letdown for me.

Hi Rkip, was not around for a while. I think the sound of the machine is superb, some minor issues with the built. The kickback needs some little adjustments and for me thats it at the moment.

How’s the new code for this game? Any owners out there are you guys liking it I’m considering getting one

How many people in the USA have received their Queen game from Cointaker? I have had my on order since July 22, 2022. Still no game.

Ordered 7/21. No game, no word. A shipment is coming, though. But the people getting theirs in this batch have already been notified, I think. PB says all original orders should be completely shipped by July at the latest. But then they told me I'd get my game in October, so...

PS - iceman44 is getting his in this shipment, but I have no idea when he ordered it.

Can someone summarize "the situation" with Queen for me?
Why does it feel like only six people own this game?
Why isn't there much more info available on it?
It seems like if this were released by any of the (even slightly) bigger companies it would be making huge headlines. Instead, a pin based on some of the coolest music of all time seems to be quietly dying before it even had a life.

I love their music, and like the idea of supporting a small pin company, but it seems like there are no "normal" releases with PB.

I think everyone could make this their signature line at some point in their NIB buying lives.

They reduced the price by $300 a week or two ago which is unprecedented in the pinball world. I'm guessing they're not selling like they hoped they would.

Only on the Champions edition...looks like the Rhapsody edition is still 10, 995.
