Quoted from dirkdiggler:Homemade chili and all beef hotdog
Dude, that's the same green and white corning ware I just cleaned out of mom's house after 40 years. If I knew you had that, I would have sent you any pieces you need. Oh well.
Leftover BBQ chicken sizzling fajita burritos, chips and cheese.

Quoted from dirkdiggler:Man I love corningware. Bought a box five years ago from a elderly couple at a yard sale.
Ever hosted a Tupperware party?
Quoted from bluespin:I like how you have taken simple ingredients and turned it into a good meal.
They all come out the same the next morning.
I don't do propane. Wood or charcoal only
Tonight, it's bagged premium romaine salad topped with Pinkerton Avocado from my front yard and lots of fresh ground pepper.

Grilled New York steak with garlic cheese toast and a baked potato with just about everything I've got.
Quoted from fosaisu:Where'd you score the four foot tall pepper grinder?
Funny you should ask. About 20 years ago a buddy of mine and myself were at a pick your part junkyard and he pulled it out of the trunk of a Chevy Citation. I believe. The cashier gat a good chuckle and charged me a buck for it. It's been great!
Quoted from punkin:That's enough to feed me for 4 days .
No wonder it's so hard to get up off the couch in front of TV now.
Quoted from Bax1:Picked up a faberware counter top rotisserie off Craigslist a couple years ago. Makes some killer chicken!!!
I have two of those Faberware's. One left from each parent. A buddy picked one up at a garage sale (same buddy Steve that found the pepper mill) a few years back, and had that thing going all the time. Makes a mean prime rib on the rotisserie.
Now I've got birds of a feather flockin' together on the Traeger.
Quoted from romulusx:All you need is love, and a Weber Kettle.
I'm still using the Weber Kettle I bought right before my daughter who is now 21 was born. The larger one left from the 70s or 80s was too big for my needs so I sold it at a garage sale to a gentleman that called it an asada.
Quoted from fosaisu:Looks delicious! Did you bag those birds in the backyard?
It was delish. And those are Tyson hens I hoarded as soon as I heard the plant was being shut down.
Quoted from fosaisu:Had to ask, everything else seems to grow in SoCal so I figured you've probably got gamebirds presenting themselves to be eaten as well.
I have considered having a few range free chickens wandering my back yard, but mom's next door neighbor had a chicken coup, and they make much too much noise early in the morning for me.
It's amazing how quiet it is around here now than it used to be. Every day is like Sunday. I am and could get really used to this. I don't even hear the echo of the freeway coming up the channel behind my house anymore. And nobody is racing up and down my street at 6 AM either.
I have been dreaming of something like this for years. Just sorry so many had to die to make it happen.
