Sirloin was on sale this week so did a big steak with mushrooms, salad and cheese garlic bread. Made a stir fry for lunch the next day with the left over steak.

Is that minced raw garlic on top of the sliced sirloin? Or maybe garlic butter?

My son (5 year old)and I are slowly perfecting crepes.
Here’s one stuffed with strawberries and blueberries. I feel like it should be filled with pork tenderloin and beef brisket to fit in in this thread.
Our favorite is the good ol’ nutella and bananas.

Yeah, it was so good I had one for breakfast aswell.

I was abit hungover today, so after the breakfest burger I was early on the beer and BBQ.

I shouldve taken the meat off earlier, I prefer it more "red".

Popcorn pork neck in tempura batter. Haven't decided on a sauce yet, but leaning towards my chilli mud crab sauce, goes well with this i know.

We just rinse it a few times and cook with water. Well cook sticky rice and jasmine rice in a cooker using a little less water to keep it from being to soft.
You can also steam it, Steaming sticky rice is the traditional way to make it. I’ll stir it a few times as it steams

I just cut some of what i think you guys call money muscle and we call neck or scotch fillet of pork into bite size chunks. Toss in some sauce for tanginess (i used a couple tbsp oyster sauce) and then dip in tempura batter and deep fry till golden.

You can do sweet and sour, honey lemon, plum, black bean or any style sauce you want with it. Works well with chicken too.

Kids will eat plate after plate of it and it only takes 20 mins to make.

I had a major tragedy discovered this afternoon fellas I discovered that my wife unplugged the freezer in the basement I had 4 racks of ribs, 3 whole turkey breast, 2 whole chickens, 2 lbs of ground beef, and a whole pork butt in there. was the worst sell I have ever encountered. I hope I can get the smell out and was lucky nothing was in my stomach or it would’ve been everywhere.

So I’m gonna post what I’m making today but can I post a video as a picture attachment?

    #581 1 year ago

Chuck the freezer away, you'll never get the smell out (same for the wife ) )

So far have used a ton of vinegar and it’s helped but letting it sit with a bunch of baking soda. May need a new one. The whole house still smells. Not sure how long it was unplugged but the wrap the pork butt was in blow up like a ball. I’m glad nothing broke open.

I have two of those Faberware's. One left from each parent. A buddy picked one up at a garage sale (same buddy Steve that found the pepper mill) a few years back, and had that thing going all the time. Makes a mean prime rib on the rotisserie.

Now I've got birds of a feather flockin' together on the Traeger.

I'm still using the Weber Kettle I bought right before my daughter who is now 21 was born. The larger one left from the 70s or 80s was too big for my needs so I sold it at a garage sale to a gentleman that called it an asada.

Had to ask, everything else seems to grow in SoCal so I figured you've probably got gamebirds presenting themselves to be eaten as well.

I have considered having a few range free chickens wandering my back yard, but mom's next door neighbor had a chicken coup, and they make much too much noise early in the morning for me.

It's amazing how quiet it is around here now than it used to be. Every day is like Sunday. I am and could get really used to this. I don't even hear the echo of the freeway coming up the channel behind my house anymore. And nobody is racing up and down my street at 6 AM either.

I have been dreaming of something like this for years. Just sorry so many had to die to make it happen.
