Q: how many mods can be added to the 12vdc circuit?

    Thanks in advance. I have a customer that wants to add lots of led lighting to his game, topper , under cabinet lighting etc requiring 12vdc. Aside from a blowing fuse how much is too much?
    Additionally can I use a seperate 12vdc transformer and still use the games ground signal to light the led mods etc instead of using the games power driver 12 vdc? Thanks jr

    There's not a set number. And it depends on the health of the board and the machine. TZ and sttng might be more sensitive. You also might notice weak flippers from intermittently registering flipper optos before the fuse blows. Also, if the game has a colordmd it can handle less mods. I might just wire a separate power supply for him.

    You have to add up how many amps each mod draws.

    There will be math involved.
