I need to put a small amount of mylar down over a scratch that the spring made on my AC/DC. I'll be cutting mylar that I got from Pinball Life (the one he uses for slings).

Anything I should know before putting it down? Figured I would just clean it quick with some Novus 2 before placing it. I know it's not rocket science, but figured I'd ask first....

After the novus i'd use some naptha or alcohol on the spot as well.. Gets any wax up.

I'd wax it good to make it easy to remove later if you want to.

Not too critical with a small piece, but to avoid air bubbles under the mylar use a wallpaper seam roller (you can get one at Home Depot) or a plastic putty knife and start at one edge and work towards the other. See the following article.
