Thinking of putting a $350 pinwoofer into my Wonka. Wondering what other JJP owners think of this system and how much of a difference it makes. Wonka audio out of the box isn't that great.

I have experienced it, and it will provide your Wonka with a powered sound system coming from nowhere. Your invisible glass will make a rattling sound, while you will wonder if your shaker inside is still working. You will not hear anyone telling you to stop playing, it can be that loud
I have one on order. The one that is supposed to address the glass shake. The callouts are so good on this table I feel it warrants the upgrade but I’ll know for sure this weekend. It comes in Friday.

Nice. I'll wait for the results!
Unfortunately there's not a lot of deep sounds in wonka ... i added a powered sub(like i do to every pin)and it helps but was probably the least noticeable of any pin I've owned . There just isn't much low sound in the audio and the audio in general just isn't super great quality in wonka i guess bc its age? I'm sure the pin woofer kit will help overall to improve the mids/highs but don't expect a huge difference like on g@r.

Interested to hear more from owners that have this installed Bc the comment above is why I haven’t bought one yet. The audio in this game just doesn’t have a lot of lows so I’m wondering would this mod be even able to help out if the baseline audio doesn’t even have a wide range? I currently have a sub connected and I agree - it makes a subtle difference nothing like the rest of my pins

That's why I keep hesitating to buy it. Looks like over $400 with the GT amp and I really don't know how much of a difference it will make. I really want to improve the audio on this pin though.

Yep same boat. I have one in my gnr and it sounds good as it should but here, if you’re not working with much, how big of a diff could it be
