Hoping someone can give me a bit of help here. Just got a Fish Tales (my first machine) and did a full shop job (took everything apart and cleaned it and put it all back together). Thought I did a good job of taking photos and putting things into tupperware containers, but apparently not perfect. I have a few pieces that aren't complete and I'm hoping for some help.

I have one 03-8319-9 Star Post #8 left over and I think it goes here, but wanted to check (I couldn't find their locations in the manual) https://photos.app.goo.gl/JjXx6cxBNeHqaUrZ6

I also seem to have mixed up two screws and am hoping someone can tell me which ones I need. The first is for this Star Post just above the right outlane (above the Special light) https://photos.app.goo.gl/3DGJCgtgv2DUcJoV6

The other is a long screw that goes through the plastic on the right side (just above and right of the Star Post in this image) https://photos.app.goo.gl/BAGpiepzCKx5hZQd9

Any help would be greatly appreciated... the machine is cleaned and waxed and I can't wait to start playing it again!

Quoted from Stretch7:

Answer #1 Nothing goes there seems to be an error in playfield as that hole doesnt get used
Answer #2 I have seen various screws in the 3 i have worked on sometimes its a metal wood scre and others is a metal
Answer #3 that will be a plastic post that should be attached to your plastic

Answer #1 - Thanks - so I still have a mystery post, but I will look again.

Answer #2 - Any idea the length? I have one in but it must be too short because the post just spins right now (although it is held in place)

Answer 3 - there is a plastic post, but there is also a screw that goes through the plastic post and I'm not sure what length the screw needs to be

I guess picture would help

Thanks! I think I have that one, but I'll check when I get home

Quoted from ForceFlow:

Can you post photos of the areas/parts you're unsure about?

Sure thing - I had links in the first post, but I've added arrows to make it clearer:

The first is for this Star Post just above the right outlane (above the Special light). I have a screw in there, but the Star Post keeps spinning

The other is a long screw that goes through the plastic on the right side. It has a long plastic post that the screw goes through before going into the playfield. Picture: https://imgur.com/a/OVszNZ5

Quoted from ForceFlow:

That one might be a machine screw (rather than a wood screw) and secured with a nut on the underside of the playfield. It is meant to be adjustable between the 3 positions to open or narrow the outlane.

Yep that was it! Thanks.

Everything is up and running again, although I still have a star post without a home.

Quoted from northerndude:

Star post probably goes under the huge beck left plastic. Here is a link to my teardown that might shed light for ya.

That's got to be it - I was wondering if it was under there somewhere (seemed to be the only possible spot). I'll check later this morning. Thanks for sharing!

Any chance I can add your album (typo!) to my drive? Your photos are much better than mine and I'd love to have the reference.

Quoted from northerndude:

Add my dinner? Typo? Or I don’t now the lingo! Ha.
Is there a way to move my pics to your google drive?

Ha - yeah... that's what I get for replying first thing in the morning on my phone. But yeah, I'd love to have a copy of your album.
