Aladdin's Castle has two adjacent flippers on the lower right of the playfield, a bottom and a top one. As seen in the schematic below, the circuit to the top right flipper coil is closed when the right flipper button switch closes and a normally open EOS switch for the bottom right flipper closes. In other words, the top right flipper coil is activated only after the bottom right flipper coil fully engages.

I am guessing that the circuit was designed this way to add a very slight delay to the action of the top flipper so that perhaps only skilled players could use this flipper well. Is this the reason or was there some other purpose to having this circuit configured this way?
