Williams, 1997hi there,
bought purple skirt from 2 different dealers. both are identical but look close to a kind of blue, otherwise way different from my purple super band rubber and purple playfield areas (MM).
is it possible to find a real purple skirt or i won't get better then i already have?

Before you ask this question, go into the paint isle at your local hardware store and tell me how many different "whites" they have 
. Bottom line is shade is going to vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. Even if you could get both parts from the same company differences in shape and material composition could affect the end color. Even if they use the same formula.
I hear the sarcasm but it is a PITA. I just tried sourcing a bumper cap set for MM and no one sells a matching set. If you buy the single "cut" cap it doesn't match the 2 "uncut" caps, different shade of purple. Try a few different suppliers and maybe you'll get lucky. Also try searching for violet instead of purple.

I could put pink or green skirts on it without you knowing and you wouldn’t be able to tell unless you got back there to look. Haha
