Ghosting blubs cannot fix switch insert coding - oversights.
I don't think I have seen a ghost patch for Data East machines. Maybe someone here has more info.
AFAIK; your only option in lue of no code patches is to use LED OCD to get rid of the ghosting.

I'd advise based upon the recent comments; that you attempt to determine a pattern to the ghosting... IE is it specific inserts?
If so; by looking at the matrix - you might be able to determine a row or a column which has all the ghosts in them. If so; it's probably one of those diodes.
