Can't wait 'til all these nimrods who apparently can't figure out how to press play on a Roku remote leave the hobby for the rest of us who just want to play a game of pinball on the playfield.

Quoted from surfnrg:Odd that they went with an 80's look for a 90's game.
They probably had to go for whatever mishmash of eras pops into Tarantino's head when he thinks "pinball."
Quoted from PinStalker:It'll be great when this single level revival period is over.
I guess you'll have to settle for one of the four games with ramps released this month.
I wonder how many affluent movie buffs would pay to have one of these in their home theater, assets be damned. Ten? A thousand? Not my world, so I have no idea.
Quoted from Beechwood:I said I was out over $6999... But
Lol, never change, pinside.
Quoted from surfnrg:I must say I'm disappointed. I'll still probably get an SE if they ship first or convince myself to get an LE if they ship first.
Stop it, you guys are killin' me.
Quoted from Rarehero:Stern Pro is ~$7k. This has less in it, so IMO it should be cheaper
*cracks knuckles* Let's count some coils, boys.
Quoted from simbob:to you guys, does it look like there is addictive, flowy shots?
In a word, no. I see a lot of scoops, targets, and shots that feed the pop bumpers. You should believe Josh when he said the game plays brutal. Dude may be washed now, but he used to be one of the best in the world. (hi Josh!)
I'm thinking more TNA than Bond 60th.
Quoted from SLAMT1LT:I've been making modern/retro pinball games in the virtual world for a decade now

Quoted from Dantesmark:Anyone want to take a crack at some new drop target decals for Pulp Fiction?
Nope.
Quoted from Blackice:I couldn’t decide on FF, GF or PF so I’m out on all.
Can someone please release a game without an F in the acronym? Every time I see a game mentioned this month I have to stop and remind myself which one it is. Not to mention TPF.
Quoted from surfnrg:I only need it to be a bit more fun to shoot than xenon.
Low bar! I think that's a stone lock.
Quoted from Enchantress:Kind of Butch related, I’m sure mods are already on the 3D printers.
No 3D printer necessary:

Quoted from surfnrg:Why are we against this again?
So we don't pay 12 grand for a $9,500 game?
Quoted from surfnrg:Isn't the entire point of manufactured scarcity to make games more collectable?
Yes, it sucks, and I want no part of fanning the flames.
Quoted from ausretrogamer:Trying to find info on the PF CoinUP online connectivity - turning up with ZILCH so far.
Could be more of a name than anything at this point and they have six months to implement it, who knows.
Quoted from Bmad21:You guys likes bally so much maybe you guys get a 6808 keypad,
I had to use one recently, and you know what? It wasn't half bad. Once I got up to speed, it was pretty fast & easy to change settings, in any order you want.
Quoted from beltking:Yeah bill was like $120 for some hamburgers basically.
That's a shame, can probably get the best saltena this side of Bolivia for ten bucks within walking distance of the tourist traps.
Anyway, back to Pulp Fiction. “Hamburgers! The cornerstone of any nutritious breakfast.”
Those look sexy as-is. I don't need no stinkin' topper. None of my current solid states have dolls on top and I've never missed 'em. Bring on the standard/special/whatever editions.
Quoted from CTHOMAS1998:Just grabbed this for my coin door key.
How is everyone not getting the Z? It's an actual keychain in the movie! Ultimate theme integration.
Quoted from Sandman33:If I order a base model now. What's the actual ideal expected delivery date?
Plan on 2024 and be pleasantly surprised by anything sooner.
You don't want the first impression to be "game is brutal" for everyone this side of a Sharpe brother.
Quoted from Kenswift:If that’s how you feel about the game, why even be on the hype thread? Move on.
Nah, screw that. First people aren't allowed to say anything negative in an owner's club, and now hype threads should be free of criticism? Maybe delicate fanboys need to start private facebook groups for each game where you can vet membership and police opinions above & beyond the level of pinside moderation.
Actually I think those facebook groups already exist. I see them suggested but never join.
On the subject of sound, I gotta say Divine Intervention is incredible. Otherworldly, disorienting, alternating between angelic & demonic vibes, perfectly nails the impression of being in limbo, on the edge of the afterlife. Which isn't something that should even be possible in a simple pinball machine.
If you're like me and will probably never get there via skill, watch Karl DeAngelo's playthrough video.
FWIW, callouts sound consistently rough to me on every PF I've played and streams I've watched. Just assumed it's a limitation of the source material. Too bad, but whatcha gonna do.
(with the exception of new custom speech like "we're losing light, people!")
