Can’t wait to see it Monday!
Quoted from John_I:I've been assuming it would have the larger DMD that CGC uses rather than a standard LCD. So no high def movie footage.
That would be so cool if they use the same dmd as the CGC remakes. It looks soooo good!
Richard
Quoted from GoldenBeard:So do we know know when/where they are releasing the video tomorrow? Assuming it will be a trailer.
I don’t.
Quoted from ifpapinball:Doing our best to disappoint.
Haha, it looks very cool man! Let’s get a cool price as well!!
Quoted from ifpapinball:[quoted image]
I'm getting the credit but it was truly a team effort to get things to "fun".
Nice!
Quoted from docquest:Do we know if there is going to be any original "pulp fiction like" music in the game?
The 5 songs are great, but they could get repetitive if they are the only music all the time.
It would be great if Dave T was allowed to make some original music that matched the style of the 5 songs and is used as occasional filler music here and there between the main songs to give more variety.
He did I believe! I think I heard them say it in the sdtm video!
Richard
Quoted from surfnrg:I didn't say I have no interest in it. I own a Fathom Mermaid. I like simple pins that I can explain the rules in 5 minutes or lesson . I have purchased many art pieces from the 80's Bally era like Medusa, Xenon and Fathom. I'll probably churn thru every new game that Haggis makes. I would be a season ticket holder if I knew he'd be able to produce them all and knew the timeframe and knew how many LEs there would be in each title.
That said, most of my games will have fat rule sets, ramps and interactive toys. I actually don't like overly fat rule sets. To me TZ and MM have the best rule sets for a game. MM reigns supreme imo. Great flow, great ramps, best interactive toy in pinball, great callouts, great theme.
People buying PF should understand they're buying an art piece that will not get played nearly as much as the other pins in their collection. It's more of an art piece.
I own MM and ordered a PF with the intent of playing the fuck out of the mother fucker!
Richard
Quoted from jackd104:Got the PF soundtrack going, smoking some herb, hanging in the game room. I forgot how much great music in in that film, damn. Thinking of a future where many of us are enjoying the pin, too. Cheers and happy weekend. Even the grumps (self included).
[quoted image][quoted image]
“Smokin cigarettes and watchin Captain Kangaroo”
Nice line up and space!
Quoted from Blackice:Any updates on MM remake?
They said at TPF they still plan on a MMr run in late 2023.
Quoted from Pin_Fandango:Lol make sure to be the first one to get to the delivery guy lol
The shaker rocks in AFMr when you destroy a saucer!
Quoted from pinballaddicted:Hell yes it does!.Rocks the best when you Conquer Mars! A must have for this game.
We are going to get a shaker for our Pulp Fiction when it turns up... Hopefully sometime in the next 12 months.
Do we know if it is the same style shaker? Stock CGC?
Quoted from cookpins:Might be worth tuning into Deadflip on Twitch tonight..
[quoted image]
Cool!!!
Quoted from Codybomb2000:Does anyone know if the pulp fiction LE is going to have a stenciled cabinet or is it going to be a decal? I surely hope it’s a stencil.
All decals. Looks amazing tho. Josh said they thought about doing stencils but it made more sense for different reasons to do the decals.
Quoted from ifpapinball:Gameplay video available with the latest potato cam technology:
https://www.ifpapinball.com/pulp-fiction-pinball-gameplay-video/
Nice!!!! Watching it now. So glad I ordered one. Looks amazing!!
Quoted from pinballjah:Got my Pulp Fiction wooden sign finished, used three layers of wood. Makes the guns, PF logo, dancers stand out from the base. Now I just have to wait for the game.
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
Wow!! Looks great!!
Quoted from transprtr4u:would you like fries with that?
Haha, I don’t remember the fries. Just the burger and drink!
Quoted from pinballaddicted:Who ever told you that is correct..
Quoted from LeMansFan:Rumor I heard from someone who appears to be in the know was that Pulp Fiction would start shipping towards the end of this month….
That would be a nice surprise!
Richard
Quoted from John1210:Just a query here... I have an se on order and was wondering what type of mirror blades would fit it? Any ideas?
I think the regular Williams Bally blades. That’s what I was told at one point.
Quoted from ArtPylon:Would bally/williams mirror blades have holes in them for the back box bolts that PF doesn't have?
Shoot. Yes they would.
Quoted from DCfoodfreak:First time playing and so glad I got in on it . Game is so fun to play !!!!
Nice!!
They said talk to Doug. But they also have weekly meetings with CGC, I assume Doug is there. I assume they have an idea.
My assumption is not anytime soon or they would have mentioned it?
Either way, I’m good to wait until they are ready to make it right.
Richard
Quoted from RickyBobby1:I’m still hyped! Got home from PinExpo and PF is still a winner for me. Did not get to play Elton John or Labyrinth but got to play all the other new ones as well Sterns, and PF kept me more entertained than the others. I’ll keep playing it at shows until I get one at the house!
[quoted image][quoted image]
Nice!!
Shake and Bake!!
Quoted from Royale-W-Cheese:Did we just become best friends?
Quoted from ifpapinball:I believe (knock on wood) that every previous issue found has been fixed and cleared for production.
Mark and Butch helped to usher the first game (the "golden sample") with 100% production parts down the line last week. This is the game that will be used for reference as the production line starts to crank stuff out. Outside of some extremely minor nitpick issues like spotting holes for certain assemblies, I've heard everything went together extremely well.
Now CGC can be confident green lighting mass production of the parts they were waiting to release upon approval of this golden sample.
I'm not sure which parts have the longest lead time of what's left to arrive, but I'm definitely getting closer to reaching for my wallet since I owe Mr. Duba a steak dinner after the first game ships out to a customer.
Nice!
Quoted from dq13:QT has the best food scenes. The dessert with hard cream here. The nachos in Death Proof. Of course, big kahuna burger
Haha, yeah those nachos are good. That whole scene in the bar, then the porch outside the bar, and then in his car are fucking amazing!
Quoted from transprtr4u:It's CGC ... why are you so surprised?
2 year plus wait for CCR.
Say WAIT one more time mother fucker!!
Do they speak English in WAIT!?
Quoted from Mleiter:Meanwhile, Barrels of Fun, a company that has never built a pin before, announces their new machine and has dozens of them ready to ship the same day. 2 months later people have them in their homes and are enjoying them as we speak.
Tell me again why we are rewarding this shity company again?
You have a Pulp Fiction listed in your collection it looks like lol. I guess you can answer your own question! Let us know when you figure it out!
I’m rewarding them because Mark Ritchie designed the game, Josh Sharpe did the rules, David Thiel did the sound, and CGC builds amazing quality games, to name a few things. Ohh also it’s Pulp Fiction.
Richard
Quoted from Mleiter:I've decided to just stick it out. My Dist only has $500 from me locked up. It's not the end of the world and I still want the game. I am searching for another game though. No interest in getting on another waiting list so I'll be buying used this time around, checking out what's out there as we speak. Fun times, huh?
Nice! Good choice I think!!
Richard
Quoted from Sako-TRG:A good source has stated these could be shipping any day now.
Ohh wow. That would be a nice surprise !
Quoted from ifpapinball:First game off the line shipped last week. Hooray, Play Mechanix Pinball finally made it's first $1!
I'm scheduled to go in and review the next batch of games coming off the line this week. Super excited to see the line in action for myself.
[quoted image]
Holy shit!! Very cool!!

I hope CGC ships to Canada first! Me first to be clear!
Can’t wait! But will also patiently wait!
Richard
Quoted from Only_Pinball:I think so too![quoted image]
Haha, shoot! Wrong coin door!
Quoted from LeMansFan:How many of those kids will be driving before I see my game???
haha
Quoted from iceman44:Anytime brother!
I don’t think I drank much at all raising my 3 girls, beer usually, until my girls became teenagers.
Man cave, pinball and beer = Sanity.
Haha! I have 3 girls as well! Ages 5,7, and 12!
Quoted from Pmaino:I was out in London for work and stopped by the EAG expo. To my surprise that had a Pulp Fiction to play. Game was a blast and cant wait to get it in my collection whenever that is. I asked the people working there and they said CGC is going to build the first 500 games as SE's and then switch over to LE's later in the year. Has anyone else heard this?
I heard long ago they are making SEs before the LEs. I think from Butch maybe or someone else on the CGC team. Or maybe Josh.
Richard
Quoted from TreyBo69:HYPE
Looks like all DBV versions of the game. Are they doing any regular standards or going straight to LEs after the DBV version?
Word on the street is SE before LE. Lots of cabs there with no coin doors added yet. Maybe some of them are SEs?
Richard
Quoted from LTG:I wonder if that's mine ?
LTG : )
Or mine?
JK, I would rather it be yours. Gona need your help at some point I’m sure!!
Richard
Quoted from LTG:Funny, I'd rather it be yours.
A few simple clicks and all the tech support requests go to you.
Have fun.
LTG : )
Haha! I would be fired quick!
Richard
Quoted from ifpapinball:Chicago Gaming makes their own cabinets
Quoted from AssaultSuit:Is there a place to buy mirror blades for the SE model?
Was wondering that as well.
Quoted from Thorn-in-pinball:Melissa at Coin Taker will have the mirror Blades available for the SE and SED models. Those will be available at the Texas show and through Coin Takers Website. Coming soon!
That’s great news! Thanks for sharing!
Richard
Quoted from Deez:I ordered an SE on 3/14. Was that day 1? So long ago I can't remember.
Same. March 14th. Was day one or two.
Richard
Quoted from LTG:My game will be souped up a little. Fancy chrome coin door, mirror side blades, and when the toppers come out I'll get one for my game.
LTG : )
Nice!!
Quoted from Pmaino:Has anyone had their distro reach out for payment on their SE yet?
Not me, but I thought I saw at least one or two people here say they paid for their SE.
Richard
Quoted from Deez:I paid the invoice for my SE yesterday and the game is shipping tomorrow.
Wow! Can’t wait to see some pics!
Congrats!
Richard
Quoted from Mattyk:February 9th is ship date for my chrome door SE. confirmed today
Wow! Great news!!!
Quoted from Mattyk:Looks like the distributor is getting 10 DBV games and 10 chrome door (sexy’s).
Quoted from Pin_Fandango:Do we know how many SE are going to Canada
Asking for myself.
Quoted from Pin_Fandango:I just talked to Nitro. They are sending me Richard's game to test it for him.
Quoted from northerndude:THIS!!
hey LTG or ifpapinball any info?
My folks are in AZ for 2 more months, I need to know to order get sent to them so they can bring back to me in Saskatchewan.
I believe Coin Taker said a few posts ago they will have the mirror blades for pulp in stock soonish.
I assume the regular CGC shaker would work for this. Not 100% sure. But I bet.
Richard
Quoted from jturner:Mines arriving tomorrow - ordered 3/17/23 - shipped 2/16/24!! SE SS coin door Betson's
Have to make room in my lineup - moving out my Silver Ball Mania...
[quoted image]
Nice!!
Quoted from docquest:I think LE buyers are also supposed to get a PF banner and extended warranty.
And a shaker motor I believe.
Quoted from docquest:I think LE buyers are also supposed to get a PF banner and extended warranty.
And a shaker motor I believe.
Quoted from jturner:Just got mine today. First 20 games I am very impressed with the build quality. I played this several times in the last year and I tend to agree that on location it’s hard to hear the callouts and clips, but that’s likely due to the operator not turning the volume up. This thing can get very loud and I don’t think you’d have a problem hearing the callouts.
I think the game sounds fantastic. I’m glad they used voices from the movie. It def adds to the theme.
Also can confirm wiring harness and holes ready for a shaker.
[quoted image]
Nice!!
Yes, looks like my CGC remakes I added shakers to. Pre drilled with the harness right there in your left.
Then you have to turn shaker on in the settings I believe.
Have fun!!
Richard
Quoted from jturner:Here is a pic of them
[quoted image]
Ohh wow!
I thought you just got one.
Very cool!
Richard
Quoted from cookpins:Deez which board was it you replaced?
I had to replace this big board in my AFMr. It was an easy swap. And CGC was great to deal with as usual.
Richard
IMG_8910 (resized).jpegQuoted from TreyBo69:people can get sick of their pinball machine saying "does he look like a bitch"?
In my house anything that comes from the CGC factory is bolted.
Quoted from pinchamp:Thanks but it says the same thing… blocked in my country so to copyright
Same!
Quoted from Dantesmark:Zach just in formed me PF is en route!!!
Shaker, blades, and pdi glass are ready to be installed!
Good luck with the wait gentlemen.
Nice!!! I need to order that stuff!!! My pulp is being delivered tomorrow!
Quoted from John-Floyd:Finally Played it today at GAP. Only got one quick game in, but it was definitely a fun game and seemed built very well. Audio sounded just fine to me. I think those who have one on order will be very happy when it arrives![quoted image]
Looks nice next to TBL!!!
Quoted from JWilberdog:Know this is hype page and maybe better for a separate post and/or poll but would love to hear opinions on:
Where do you see PF being price wise on the used market in 1 year?
2 Years?
Given past record of speed to market, wonder if a lightly used one is worth waiting for.
My collection has grown pretty quickly but an opportunity for NIB SE presented itself -
Appreciate it!
I would say it will hold its value more than the Bond and Foo that I see in your collection. But who knows for sure. Pulp is one of the few new games where you rarely read anything negative about. Amazing theme, fresh new exciting gameplay and rules. It is the safest and best bang for your buck of all the new pins out there in my opinion.
Richard
Quoted from NeilMcRae:Foo maybe - bond less so but this game is tough and won’t suit anyone but it’s also unique and made by the best in the business with a superb customer service team. But in my view if you are buying NIB always expect to take a 2K smack - more on premium/LE games
Yeah, the design team was also a huge selling point for me. And great service yes!!
