Have a look at the tank thread. They spent twenty pages arguing if a screw head was a camera.

I played it, footage uploading - ITS A BIG MUTHAFUCKING KAHUNA - it plays brilliant. David Thiel is a genius the game is tough, its a lot like a classic but also like a system 80 the mechs are cool, did I say the audio was amazing? The rules are fantastic simple, straight forward. Multiballs a lot of fun, Some of the shots are easy, some tough but OMG I got serious send me the motherfucking game now vibes. It swears a lot but they have bleeps on In your head your brain plays the right audio over the bleeps! Playing pinball to the music of PF is simple epic.

Neil.

What’s the non licensed music / sound effect package like?

So, you're on the fence?

How is everyone not getting the Z? It's an actual keychain in the movie! Ultimate theme integration.

Myself, pretty much because that's what everybody is going to get.

FINALLY people agree with me. Could not be more excited to get this.

I'm working on getting John Travoltas big toe, but he's a wraskly one.

I'll be honest I didn't hear too much of the other music, the sound effects are good, a lot of gunshots. Hopefully the video can pick it up. I was too busy enjoying a fantastic pinball machine. What a time to be a fan of pinball.

Perhaps the Zed "Z" key fob makes the most sense for the game's head? Zed was a "back door" character in the film, although the images conjured in those scenes are rather disturbing.

I opted for the miniature Blu-ray key fob for that reason, although I agree that the "Z" key fob represents the perfect theme integration.

Thanks Neil, excellent potato there.

Loving the whole thing.

Awesome, thanks for sharing. Any else notice the PF directly behind the LE in the video. Is it me or does it have black side rails? Curious. Is that the DBV model or an option?

#2871 1 year ago

I’m going to need some mayonnaise for all this sizzling potato footage

#2872 1 year ago

I only meant to watch a couple minutes, ya know the whole experience it for yourself thing, and then I noticed 5:38 had gone by!!!

It's hard to tell. Early in the video it looks silver, and someone's black shirt seems to be reflecting on it making it look black. Also looks like a silver lock bar on the floor underneath the game. Then the rest of the video it looks legit black.

This guy is definitely heading home with TPF “Texas Pinball Funk.”

Way to go from the flippers to the face!

#2880 1 year ago

And then there was THAT guy.

#2881 1 year ago

I’m excited I ordered the officially licensed wallet off of Amazon. Also included was Jules’ drivers license. Might make a nice touch somewhere in the game?

Thanks Neil. The game looks great and they really nailed the theme and made a great throw-back game! I take it that the game has a 42" deep playfield to match what most games were pre-DMD?

#2883 1 year ago

This really looks special and just can’t wait for receipt.

He is a hard Scottish mother fucker, he is immune to any bullshit!

Within 2 minutes of watching that video, you can clearly hear why David Thiel is the best in the business. I'm not even referring to all the movie quotes. Just the sounds of targets & spinners being hit & ripped. Sounds like what you'd expect from a cool 80s pinball.... not casino slot chings & chimes!

Lighting appears to be well integrated with the sounds too. RGB lighting used tastefully in the right moments! And those alphanumeric displays are just awesome. Telling you what mode you're in & where to shoot to the ball.

So refreshing to see old tech made new again. Can't wait to see more.

Sounds like no lcd will be missed on this, but no decision point with me on this.

But does it have a real knocker?

But does it have a real knocker?

And does it use it for gun shot noise effects at key moments?

I can visualize “the shot” having a perfect moment for a knock
