I had never thought of Darth Vader as gimp before now....

Quoted from pinballaddicted:

Ha ha! Yes!.. Did you order a game? I am a bit late to this party..

Would have LOVED to, but doubt i would have been served.

That coin door... SO much nostalgia just in that. Love it!

That is a shame. I am sure you will get a used one down the line..

Definitely the plan. Have to have it. in a row with Sunset Riders and Fathom Mermaid.....

It is definitely one of the best reveals in the past months together with Foo Fighters. Love the Design and the idea of a retro pin with modern technical parts.

That is awesome.. Finally we have a pin with plenty of swearing!

Quoted from JohnTTwo:

Just WOW this is so cool, I am starting to think a pinside road trip could really be cool. I was thinking of the knowledge, and quirkeness of pinball owners and think it could really change the way I view life.
How much notice do you require and what is the max length of stay
Kudos!!!!

I like to imagine that Quentin himself would enjoy the seventies vibe of my basement gameroom.

I'm located in southern New Jersey, a half-hour drive from the Philadelphia airport. If the Wolf drives, you can make the trip in 10 minutes.

Open invitation to Pinsiders to visit. . .message me if you're passing through the area.

They put a lot into that. Triple chrome plating, ring around the start button lights up. Looks amazing.

I wouldn’t mind buying a door to stick on some of my older beat up games. Could hook the credit lense lamp to the start button lamp

Quoted from LTG:

I see Butch in the pictures. Everybody there say hi to Butch, he doesn't get enough recognition and appreciates it. Except the one TPF where he was mistaken for me. That really deflated his moment being called Lloyd.
LTG : )

I’d be damn honored if someone called me Lloyd.

Quoted from deejaypee:

I’d be damn honored if someone called me Lloyd.

It’d be pretty cool until they’d start expecting me to…you know, know things.

#2718 1 year ago

I wonder if they missed the boat and could have made just made one model, how many people would have bailed if they only had the LE style for sale?

Quoted from deejaypee:

Some years ago the first time I was at TPF and 400+ games going. WOZ had a ball stuck. jack called my cell phone to help. I never heard it over the games. Butch wanders up, and proceeds to unlock the coin door and remove the lockdown bar and glass to free the ball.

This was for an older couple, thinking I heard jack's call. As Butch was doing this the older gentleman was telling his wife that this guy was famous in pinball, knew everything, everybody loved him. Butch's chest kept expanding and expanding, he was relishing the praise, he wasn't used to it.

Then when Butch was done the man told his wife that this was Lloyd. LTG.

Poor Butch. Instantly deflated.

The rest of the show I kept calling him Lloyd.

I don't think he'll ever live it down.

A shame he isn't better known in the hobby. For all he's done.

I’ve listened to several podcasts expressly because they interviewed Butch. He is so knowledgeable, passionate, thoroughly helpful, and seems like the nicest fella—one of those guys I haven’t met who is nevertheless one of the reasons I don’t give up on humanity.

You too Lloyd. You are everywhere all the time doing all the good, and I hope I get to shake your hand one day, and tell my wife that she’s meeting an absolute legend, the man, the myth, Butch Peel

Those look sexy as-is. I don't need no stinkin' topper. None of my current solid states have dolls on top and I've never missed 'em. Bring on the standard/special/whatever editions.

Anyone I see working on PF this weekend, I will just call them Butch. Even if its you.

It would be super tough for me. I would probably wait and maybe try and snag it later for cheaper.

I have to admit to being 100% wrong about this game when I saw the blurry photos - this game looks outstanding and the team behind it have totally freaking nailed it. No I haven’t played it but I know enough to be certain this is going to play epic.

Could do without the half-eaten hamburger, but the rest of it is stunning. Thank you.

Having watched the movie again on the plane for the first time in 20 odd years I think it’s spot on.

#2728 1 year ago

The back glass pops like crazy even with no back illumination!

The hamburger, or the game?

Cold, half eaten food is not a good look at any stage of anything.

<Please let it be fun, please let it be fun, please let it be fun>

#2731 1 year ago

Yeah, I think the bitten royal with cheese is a little too much. Since the butch plastic is right above it, the chopper Grace would have looked pretty great there instead.

Agree to disagree Neil. The word of the day continues to be "miscalculated".

#2733 1 year ago

Ok I’m getting T-shirts made now

#2734 1 year ago

I got some games on it, was fun to shoot Couldn't really hear the callouts well with all the noise of the other pins next to it. Did notice alot of ball spin but may have just been my particular shots. Pops have gun shot noises. Didn't care for the guitar music when launching, don't recall that in the movie.

Never heard any cuss words, but lots of movie clips going off. Can't wait to get some more plays on it!

A modder will do something, may be the only time i'll put a toy in a pinball machine yet.

Don't like it at all, but i have a thing about that shit.

Soon as i've eaten, the wreckage has to be cleared. I won't sit in front of a finished plate for 10 secs. In a restaurant i'll move it across to an empty table if a waiter doesn't come.

Tiz but a minor thing though, not like the callouts in the tank thing.

What do you mean? You are the first to report after playing it?

If you didn't have to sign an NDA, then....

The Big Kahuna burger being eaten by Jules is one of the best scenes in the movie.
Completely relevant.

I agree but the sculpt is a royal with cheese to match the target underneath it. Totally makes sense and is relevant to the movie no doubt. Why not have a Zeds dead target and a Grace chopper sculpt instead? Lol.
