This looks pretty sweet. A little pricey for my taste but that's modern pinball for you. I definitely look forward to playing on route though, and who knows what the future may hold.

I will say I was a little surprised to see Tarantino's character front and center on the "character select" portion of the playfield, until I read this on CGC's website:
Pulp Fiction is a retro-inspired full-featured modern pinball machine. Developed at the request of Quentin Tarantino who wanted an 1980’s style Pulp Fiction themed pinball machine for his home. Tarantino’s continued involvement throughout the project shaped the final game.

#752 1 year ago

Spinner to saucer ratio sorely lacking. I dig the whole vibe though.

Quoted from TreyBo69:

I'm still confused by the people who think this doesn't look like it would have been on location in the early 90s. It's looks so much like a classic game like Dr Dude (a game from 1990) full of sculpts

Looks more like an early 80's game to me.. Disappointing with such a great theme too.

Quoted from fosaisu:

Let's get this guy!

LOL. Get in line . . .

#755 1 year ago

I did not see Marcellus on the playfield. Did I miss him somewhere?

#756 1 year ago

Pretty cool skill shot timing it into the saucer when arrows are lit. Great classic look to the game and looks like fun.

Quoted from Bmanpin:

I’m in! Need more CGC in my life.

I'm out need less CGC in my life ...
Hope they build them in a reasonable time frame ...

#758 1 year ago

who are the CGC distributors?

edit: nevermind

Only 22 ball paths...pass.

#761 1 year ago

Trailer exceeded my expectations. Looks like a blast to play! Do we have to wait a year or will these be ready to ship soon?

#762 1 year ago

Looks pretty cool - I like the old style. I do wonder how it will handle "rolled over" scores. Wonder when these will start shipping?

#763 1 year ago

Loved the movie. Not a fan of the retro theme but would be fine depending on how it shoots. Topper is cool. Will have to play one on location first . Plus a little put off with CGC right now with the wait with ccr delays and not sure I will trust putting a deposit down and wait and buy when they are in stock somewhere.

Quoted from starfighter:

He would have looked perfect in the spot where they've got Tarantino's whiney house-husband. Which is a head-scratcher until you read this was born as a custom game for Tarantino ...

#766 1 year ago
Quoted from fosaisu:

Tarantino’s continued involvement throughout the project

At some point you have to tell the boss that they should not be so (Channeling my inner SLJ) MF'N full of themselves LOL

#767 1 year ago

Game looks cool for sure. Retro meets modern!

Sure, though it's kind of cool to think you're playing a game that was made to Tarantino's specs as opposed to some lawyers at Disney or whatever.

#769 1 year ago

When is delivery on these??

#770 1 year ago

this looks great but at that price... not so much and where's the innovation? theres no toys ? the hamburger isnt a toy ):

#771 1 year ago
Quoted from MayDave:

Do we have to wait a year or will these be ready to ship soon

They will say ready to ship , but then mis manufacture a Vince Vega leg and then you will 2 years in ...
Hope they are smart enough to get UL approval ...
Perhaps someone outside the US might want to buy one ...
Sorry CGC ... hope you redem yourself !

#772 1 year ago

Someone start making a Gimp mod, please... Thank you.

#773 1 year ago
Quoted from kool1:

I’d count on years considering the majority of CCRLEs and pluses haven’t shipped yet.

#774 1 year ago
Quoted from fosaisu:

Touche' Excellent point.

I think it looks great, my minor complaints are just that... minor. I could use less Jimmy and more Marsellus

#775 1 year ago

I feel like I've met a certain rite of passage as a middle aged man by spending 9500$ on a toy, all based on a 2 minute marketing trailer. I'm in!

#776 1 year ago

Alright, well that was fun. Haagen Dazs Tank Brigade full reveal tomorrow?

#777 1 year ago

Get on the hype train!!! All aboard!!! Chugga chugga choo choo bitches!!

I just hope I get a zed keychain with it. I know they are only $10 online but that would make me happy to receive one with the game. Haha

Things that are awesome about this:

Classic coin door
Classic Bally-style arrow inserts
Subway
Knocker on all models - thank you
Inline *memory* drops - holy ***
FUN theme for adults with music and dialogue
Custom sculpts on all models - no flat plastics instead for the SE

Best new game I've seen in forever.

#779 1 year ago

Was thinking it would be cheaper based off the 70’s Bally design but looks really cool and excited to play it nonetheless

Quoted from JSC:

Don't worry we will wait what's another couple of years !

#781 1 year ago

What's the price on this game?

#782 1 year ago

CGC just told Stern where they can shove that $20,000 retro style Bond 60th.....

#783 1 year ago

Ok ok ok.

I said I was out over $6999... But

IF the sounds and call outs are great and IF the shots are fun and IF the code is challenging but not 45 minutes deep... And IF IT HAS MOMENTS, real moments when you achieve something hard you really feel rewarded and there's music and call outs and a light show to SCREAM to you "THAT'S A MOMENT"... then I'm in.

I feel genuine pinball moments are lacking and Pulp Fiction is dripping with possibilities, I hope the pin has some too.

#784 1 year ago

So unless I missed something...
1. there are zero mechs to actually interact with.
2. $1500 for a topper, blades and a shaker motor.

I must say I'm disappointed. I'll still probably get an SE if they ship first or convince myself to get an LE if they ship first.

Rules are fairly simple, everyone will easily understand them in their entirety. Less rules than MM.

May trade even for my Fathom Mermaid.

#785 1 year ago

A retro game sold at current prices, while saving on a color screen, gimmicky mechs and some mini playfield.. brilliant! This thing should weigh less and looks like it could go out the doors faster.

#786 1 year ago
Quoted from transprtr4u:

Don't worry we will wait what's another couple of years !

Still waiting on my fully paid CCrLE from Nov. 2021. No end in sight.

Pulp Fiction looks retro cool. I'd have to get my Cactus first.

#787 1 year ago

It's not what I was hoping for from the only theme I've been interested in for the last few years but I think it still looks fun. I might consider it if they were going to be ready to ship anytime soon but I'm not putting a deposit down only to wait a year or more which I worry will be the case.

#788 1 year ago

looks awesome i want… over/under on 1 year unboxing photos?

#789 1 year ago

Who is the manufacturer of this game? Raw Thrills or CGC?

#790 1 year ago

Is cgc or play Mechanix making these? It looks better than I was expecting but I'm already over my pin limit and ccrle is fianlly coming this week. Just too many pin releases the past month to make any decisions anyway... I'm gonna sit back enjoy my current collection . Then after all the dust settles and I've played everything I'll make decisions but gonna be tough with so many great new options. What a time for the hobby.... who wld of thought we wld have 6+ new pins revealed in beginning of 2023.

#791 1 year ago

I really like the way the game looks. I just wish it used a DMD instead of a SS setup, It would've been neat to see Jules and Vincent on the DMD.
Excited to see how it pans out and people's reaction to actually playing it.

Lol, never change, pinside.

#793 1 year ago

What is "DBV Ready"? In reference to the SED and SE models? Both priced the same.

#794 1 year ago

Will I’ve seen them all (except GTF)
and I’m getting that Godfather LE!
PF looks like fun but I can’t see the longevity there. Just my opinion

#795 1 year ago

Just read the rules sheet and it looks like a lot of fun. Good stuff in this game with the physical locks, saucer skill shot, controllable inline drops, and magnet. Should be a good game to play. Only (BIG) question is delivery timeline with CGC.

Quoted from Charliew65:

Good, I need a year to start saving up. I don’t mind the price, if it’s a quality build like the rest of CGC.

Also mirror blades, speaker grill looks different in the LE and you get some kind of banner. The price bump in CGC LEs give you decent actual value if you like toppers.

I don't know, but this is me waiting for my CCr LE to arrive.
