I'm in the process of pulling apart the lighted Smart Missile button out of a JP. How do these lighted switches come apart to replace a bulb? I got it part way, but am now stuck. Thanks in advance

Twist and snaps off hard, snaps back on hard too.
Put the switch back on so you have more to grab.
LTG : )
I can't reinstall the entire switch assembly into anything to get leverage (due to the gun design).
I put some good force, and nada. Afraid I'm going to break it. Never realized these were such a PIA. Will keep trying.

No, put the switch, THE SWITCH back on the assembly, not the whole assembly back on.
With the switch on the switch bracket, you have more to grab.

I thought the same with the lighted start buttons. You just need to push really hard to get it back in. Don't worry they can take a lot of pressure.

Thanks, old post but very helpful. My Missile Button on my Last Action Hero wasn't working. Turns out that it just needed that extra push . Ended up cleaning the entire gun assembly. One item down about 1,000 to go.
