Quoted from Aniraf:

Is there a way to update the code on this game?

Same as the other CGC games. Page 4-3 in the manual.

Quoted from Aniraf:

what the current code is.

Your game has it. No update yet.

#1752 34 days ago
Quoted from chuckwurt:

I don’t think they’ve published how to update code when it does come out. But until scorebit is set up, I think you have to do the usb route.

Page 4-3 in the manual.

Same as other CGC games. Micro SD card.

I am assuming the glass is just regular and not anti glare, however mine looks much clear than stock Sterns

Anyone else think this?

No way any of the LE's are shipped before 2025

I’ll bet just cause I like to. $50? We will see at least one LE shipped before 2025.

Quoted from chuckwurt:

These have a built in spring in them as far as I can tell.

Quoted from SimplePin:

They do have springs. Confirmed when I removed the buttons to remove the screws.

Well then....guess I'll have to live with it

I can’t remember, but doesn’t pulp use the metal actuator covers that help with adding tension to the button? Maybe yours is missing them?

I don't know as I haven't looked. I just know they're much lighter than all of my other games...but all of my other games use leaf switches vs optos. Except for maybe Shadow? But Shadow feels like it has more tension than PF does.

Seems like the flipper optos were a bad idea for this game. CGC kept the lock bar mech old school though. I think I would have rather seen the old school leaf spring for the flipper switches and the new school latching mech for the lock down bar.

#1763 34 days ago

The new school latching mech I prefer for sure. The 90s setup is so susceptible to issues.

Good morning fellow Bad Motherfuckers.

I had an idea for a cool toy to add to the game. Featured around the 2 cars featured in the movie. The silver 1991 Acura NSX driven by Mr. Wolf and the red 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle SS convertible driven by Vincent. Basically, just searching for a 1:64 diecast versions of these two cars. Hot Wheels, Matchbox or whatever. I found the NSX easy enough, but the Chevelle is proving to be more of a challenge. I can get the Chevy in Red, but it's a hardtop, or I can get it as a convertible, but the color is blue. Which do you think works best??

Thanks, I'll check to see if mine has them. If so, maybe I'll need to double up.

That it was a convertible to me is more memorable than that it was red. Go with the blue one

LE’s now won’t start shipping now until September booooooo

#1776 33 days ago

I think the aussie you guys are trying to bait in the bet was thinking about Australian delivered LE's. There was a 'downunder' or 'under' mentioned in the first post in that string.

Just don't.

It's a beautiful game already, people have put a lot of thought into how it should look.

In the end it's yours, but not everyone will believe you are making it better by sticking stuff in there.

Not everyone thinks the big cheeseburger is beatiful.

Quoted from RTS:

If I had to change one thing it's the Royale with Cheese. Lior where are you, we need you. He would make it look like it's just off the grill, juicy, hot and ready to consume.

Damn I am tired of waiting.

#1780 33 days ago

I picked mine up a couple of days ago. It is really fun and was worth the wait.

SE edition of course.

Very fun and the callouts are great.

#1781 33 days ago

Most of this was big kahuna x2 with clean the car and a few big spinner rips. Still absolutely exhilarating

I have a stupid question but I cant figure out how to restart a game. For example on my stern, hold down left flipper button and hold start.

Quoted from torsinadoc:

Finish your game

There is no mid-game restart. If you want you can open the coin door, go into the test menu settings and then back out of that menu to clear the game in progress.

You can restart the game if you hold the start button for a few seconds after ball 1 has drained.

feature request!!

Can we have a left flipper start button reset like the one those guys at Stern have. Running a large venue with kids coming in and half playing 4 player games, its a godsend.

done.

I can confirm that this works. I do it all the time to avoid having to hear Son of a Preacher Man at the end of a particularly bad game.

Neil.

Is this an official bet?? Let’s do it.

#1790 33 days ago
Quoted from RTS:

Not everyone thinks the big cheeseburger is beatiful.

I'm very aware of that, i believe that i was the first to openly dis it.

I have a weird aversion to half eaten food and can't stand the sight of a plate that i've finished with being in front of me.

Hoping if i get a PF that i can just turn that sculpt around.

Still, my opinion is that sticking more stuff under the glass is superfluous and not attractive. Just because there was a car in the movie does not mean there should be one in the pinball machine.

Shaker is awesome but the coin mechs rattle real bad. Anything you can do to tighten them?

#1793 33 days ago

Like the coin return flaps on the front of the game?

I'm still having a problem with balls not being recognized in the trough after ball drains, but only during multiball. I opened a ticket, was sent replacement opto boards but it didn't resolve anything. Anyone have advice on what to do?

shaker motor came in the day after this first happened

#1796 32 days ago

chuckwurt who are we betting will receive an LE before 2025?
USA, UK or Australia? Neil wants in too

#1799 32 days ago
