I just received my PSVR2 in the mail today and got about an hour on Horizon Zero Dawn and wow what a remarkable improvement. I’m out of VR shape so suffering a bit of a headache and small nausea. Graphics are incredible, controller is so much more natural and responsive than the previous.

They released some free and paid upgrades to existing PSVR games. I hope that trend continues. There was a lot of good content on Psvr that only suffered from the limits of the original system and PS4. I’ll take a revamped Shooty Fruity or Blood and Truth over a new IP all day. No need to reinvent the wheel but looking forward to those new haves that push the limits as well.

Anybody playing yet?

I had one preordered through Sony for months. When I got notice it was about to ship & charge me, I bailed.

$600!!! Plus $50 for the controller charging station. That’s more than I paid for the PS5. I just don’t game that much to justify the cost.

I’m sure it’s impressive though.

It’s expensive alright. I thought the same thing but really enjoy what they did with psvr1 and look forward to the innovation Sony will bring to the field. Just being able to play the new Resident Evil completely in VR is incredible to me. I’m hoping games will just continue to come out with the option to play fully in VR.
