    Ouch, sorry.

    Be glad it wasn't something worse, though.
    J502, the +5VDC feed to the Audio board, and J901, the +50v feed to the Fliptronics board, are directly across form each other, and are also keyed the same.

    When you flip them, well, your flippers don't work. But, worse than that, you send 50v through the Sound board, and via the ribbon cable, into all the other boards. Goodby all those addressing chips.

    Yeah. I did it on my TZ. I was so effin' pissed at myself, let me tell you.

    The DMD board and the Fliptronics board I could have fixed, but I just bought replacements.
    The CPU board I had to replace U1, U2, and U3.
    I tried to repaid the sound board, but after replacing 5 or 6 chips, and still not getting it working, I bit the bullet and bought a replacement. (This was back in '09, so that board wasn't AS pricey as it is now.)

    I honestly didn't realize there were other plugs keyed alike until your post here. I had the two above marked, and now the two you mention are marked.
