what were the stock levels like for the official controllers? I know that with the original launch, it was like 30 systems at a store and 2-4 extra controllers

Quoted from TheHueManatee:

Crap....turns out I bought two remotes. Now I have three because one was included with the console.
Anybody in Edmonton looking for a remote I have an extra one I can sell you at the price I just paid. (13$CAD)

if you can't find anyone locally or a friend that wants that extra remote, toss it up on ebay. you'll easily get your 2-3x your money back

the only good wireless controllers (that I've found) are those 8bitdo bluetooth wireless ones (but you need to additionally purchase the bluetooth adapters)
they're a bit pricey @ $45-49ea but they have a nice heft to them, feel great and work with a variety of devices including the switch

you should be using v1.2.5 (they changed the number scheme and 1.2.5 is the latest version)

Quoted from Luckydogg420:

Bought my snes at Best Buy and my nes at Walmart. Both are North American units, There’s English, French and Spanish writing on the packaging.
Maybe just European and Japanese units don’t include a power wall wart.

correct. all region NES and SNES classics outside of north america do NOT include the usb to power (wall) adapter. the wall [brick] is sold separately for the devices outside of north america
