Just a sanity check while I'm doing the final wiring on my homebrew machine. I am putting in 3 switching powers supplies(5v,12v,36v) on this particular machine. I could run them all to a power strip, but I considered running the power directly to some power distribution blocks and connecting each PS to those blocks. How did other people handle this?

Sorry, I might have been unclear. This is not on the DC side, but rather the AC side. I could run a simple power strip in the backbox, but I'm wondering if that is the best way.

I'd use a terminal block for the AC power connections.

Some of those power entry boards (Multimorphic and Stern SPIKE) also cover the AC side. I personally just dual-ferrules on the wires and connect PSU that way. Depends a bit on how implement the line fuse. You might as well connect multiple cables to your fuse box.
