A pinball about a Christmas ornament?
All these announcements of announcements are ridiculous.
I feel backlash already, and the puppet show has not even started.
Here's an idea. Instead of yet another new pinball company announcing a game they're going to build, just build the damn thing first and then announce it. Every week it seems a new pinball company is formed, but only one company is actually producing tables in any volume. It's especially funny when game #2 is announced before game #1 is delivered.

Or here's a shocker...
They had said back when they were doing the kickstarter for the HD remakes of Timeshock for the PC and Consoles that they were interested in building a physical version of it.... appears they're simply following through with that desire. They never made any ridiculous commitments or promises of quantity, timetables, or anything that you actually mention.
Yeah, build it first... clearly you've never been even remotely involved in marketing, eh?
"It's about time."
That should be the motto of these wanna-be boutique pinball 'companies' because, that's what customers will be saying once they receive their games.
Well, if it's a new pinball machine, best of luck to them.... hope he kept up with the VD thread, so he won't make the same mistakes.
I think this is just a teaser for the full non beta release of the timeshock video pinball game.
I'm not sure if it's tied to the release of the Timeshock game, or if they are actually going to try to build the physical machine finally. I guess we'll see. I'd love to see it made.
I hate announcements of announcements of announcements, but this is some sort of Timeshock announcement, and it doesn't seem tied to barnyard studios' actual video game remake, so I am intrigued. If it's an actual functional Timeshock machine, that would be both unreal and outrageously expensive.
I'm so glad that an established company like Silver Castle Pinball was able to provide such informative information!
I assume they're trying to get people talking, but I foresee them getting people hating. From what I observe, the community is pretty much fed up with new pin companies non-announcing new pins.
... unless of course we get a chance to pre-order a pin based on an announcement alone, then I think everyone will rejoice.
I think hitler needs to do a rant about announcements for shit that's not ready... I'm all for announcements.. I've done them when we have stuff ready for sale...but this shit its just bad makes people want to get out the pitch forks before u say anything good
If it is Timeshock, it was trade marked in 2006. Not sure where the 20 years comes in.
My guess is it's about this "Timeshock" virtual pinball table
Unless they are making a "real" table out of the design?
Barnstorm Games is doing the virtual ultra edition of Timeshock - Silver Castle Pinball is currently not known to be related to that effort.
Look to be very similar. I'm just saying I don't think this has to do with the virtual game - there's not a whiff of this at the Pro-Pinball VIP Forum where Ade posts status.
Yet another vague announcement about upcoming announcements aren't really going to garner much attention or excitement.
If you show an actual product--even unfinished (drawings, plans, artwork, whitewood, etc), then there will be something of substance to discuss and get excited about.
Vague announcements are a waste of time these days and only tend to result in a lot of negative PR for whomever is making the announcement.
