Quoted from 64bsstp:Those prototypes have the most amazing ability to arrive just as you are leaving on vacation, or family has arrived for Christmas, or you've just started some other big project.
But they arrive ! That’s what matters!
And no way he’s missing the booze bus and A-town!
What most of you fail to realize is this hardtop will never wear out in your lifetime can’t say that for automotive clear.
I prefer a hardtop to conventional play field .
That hardtop finish looks like 10 coats of clear ! Just an Awsome product!
Quoted from RobF:Are we at a point where production is waiting on your final approval?
The man posted he is on vacation via pinfest
He is not your bitch nor anyoneeles bitch . Patience is a vertue WTF! Let him enjoy his time off!
Quoted from DuffysArcade:I haven't installed yet. Is it possible to change the 3,000 lettering with a water slide decal?
Not likely as it’s printed on under side
Decal would be top side and wear quickly.
Unless it’s possible to blend clear with the hard top.
I guess that’s a question for outside edge.
Quoted from detroitzoran:Wow. That's a little disheartening. I still have yet to get to the stage of applying the Hardtop, I just finished the final coat of clear. Working slowly and carefully maybe what saves me. It'll be interesting to see what the potential fix would be... As ita47 points out, removing the printed numbers on the underside seems like it could make the situation worse.
I've never done anything like this before and don't trust my skills as a 'craftsman', sanding the original artwork off gave me incredible anxiety.[quoted image][quoted image]
Give that clear lots of time to cure when you can’t smell it it’s done outgassing and cured
I’d say this hardtop delay may work in your favor
