Following! I'm in for one of these as soon as they are released!!

I sanded my trashed HS playfield and installed an overlay from Classic Arcades, but it's not given me the result I was hoping for. The playfield is now very slow and recently (2 months after installation) some lines near "Radar Detector" have actually started to lift from the artwork and created ridges that deflect the ball all over the place. It looks like I get to strip the playfield all over again but I am so excited to see that a hardtop solution for HS is in the queue!

Quoted from Skypilot:

I received what appears to be the final revision today. I am leaving in the morning on the booze bus. We will be making our way to the Silver Ball Country Club and then to Allentown. When I return and get settled I will get to work on installing this. The playfield is cleared and ready to go so it should not be too long.

It looks beautiful! Thank you for a great product. You're going to help save a lot of games!

Quoted from RobF:

Holy jeebus. My question was just to understand what the remaining steps were. Maybe step out for a minute and collect yourself.

Hey Rob, I'm patiently waiting on this as well. What condition is your playfield in? Was yours protected with any mylar or did you use a playfield protector? Mine was totally trashed and I installed an overlay which only lasted a few months before delaminating. Hoping this will be the last time I have to tear down my High Speed.

Quoted from RobF:

Did the rollover target holes need modification? I think I read something about that in Vid's thread.

I believe you have to remove the old rollover insert, then after hardtop install you router or dremel the round hole for the new insert installation.

Oh yeah! Order is placed!

I'm in the middle of a Robo-War restore but after that's finished...game on!

Thank you to Skypilot for working to get the prototype checked out...and thanks to Pinball Gifts for making this great product!

Robo-War eventually?

Ordered my HS Hardtop on June 26th and still hasn't arrived. Anyone else still not received their HS hardtop?

Quoted from mlenardon:

I just picked mine up at our nearby border. It is incredible looking quality wise. I did not get a shipping update...[quoted image][quoted image]

I ordered on 26 June and am still waiting. No idea if someone stole it off my porch or what. No tracking info...nothing.

Has anyone had any success emailing the company?
I ordered and paid for 2 of the High Speed hardtops but only received one.
I would like to get my second one.

Today I finally recieved the HS hardtop I ordered on 26 June. Bruce emailed me back a few times over the past weeks about the delays. Maybe try again.

Quoted from Hammerhead:

Still a chance for those who haven't installed their hardtop yet.

I haven't installed yet. Is it possible to change the 3,000 lettering with a water slide decal?

#299 4 years ago
Quoted from freddy:

Not likely as it’s printed on under side
Decal would be top side and wear quickly.
Unless it’s possible to blend clear with the hard top.
I guess that’s a question for outside edge.[quoted image]

No, I meant to print the decal in reverse and apply on the bottom side.

Mine is the same. Not sure how easy it will be to remove the "3,000" lettering...

Quoted from detroitzoran:

I guess waiting now is going to be the hardest part.

I am in the middle of a RoboWar restoration so I had not even begun on my High Speed. Lucky me that my hardtop is still in the box waiting. I don't want more than one machine down at a time. My RW will probably be another 6 weeks until I am finished so I have plenty of time to wait for a solution to the typo.
