I forgot to mention something about it. All the leg bolts were stuck in the machine. I had to cut each one off then replace the plates on it. Talk about annoying!

Some have screened grilles, some don't. I've seen plenty both ways, mine doesn't have them.
I think it's the fact that the metals are not of the same material. I've seen a few gold leg bolts broken off in leg plates.
I don't think the grille makes it a prototype.
Yes, I agree it's likely an early game. Mine has the artwork on the grills as well and was originally exported to Australia. Over the last several years I've only seen a handful with the artwork. The majority don't have it.
Yeah I was just curious. Ive purchased 3 flintstones in the past 2 years and only this one had the art on the grill.
