We picked up a pretty rare one this week. A proto huo Bram Strokers, SN 50001 X150000. Needs shopped and has a small issue on the sound board, but is in very nice shape and has the red boards and no fade. Wanted to share with everyone as we are pretty excited to find this little gem hiding in good ole Iowa. Unfortunately the head had to be pulled to move it.

Pretty damn cool!

Cool. Congrats on a rare find.

You might have to remove them to check. See if the buildings and cemetery have glow in the dark plastic underneath the paint.

Sweet score...thats a keeper!

Wow looks to be never played by the shooter lane and scoop holes. Also I see a few difference in the insetts for the 6 targets.2 inserts are green on each set and also the switches are also.it also say something on the middle insert. A few other small things but they were the biggest I noticed .anything else major that is different?

#8 8 years ago

asylum scores 25 million is different. Cool find. I like the green inserts

thanks for sharing.

cool stuff to see!

#10 8 years ago

Wow!!! Never heard of a prototype Dracula.

#11 8 years ago

Very cool, thanks for sharing!

#12 8 years ago

It looks like there aren't any pics of a prototype game on ipdb (just of the prototype plastics). You should send them pics so they can be properly documented for posterity. Especially of the different targets and asylum value. Would you mind sending pics to ipdb?

Looks like the upper right video inserts are also different. Bonus inserts at top are blue. No glow in the dark under building plastics. Was just thinking about taking better pics and sending them to ipdb.

I believe that plastics are different also ?

#16 8 years ago

Yeah, clear plastic instead of one with printed graphics. This one also doesn't say 'Bram Stroker's' above Dracula in the middle of the PF. Launch ball button is also yellow instead of red and missing the plastic above the upper left pop bumper.

Very cool find and awesome condition to boot. Is it a keeper for you? If you don't mind... did you get for a decent price like around current bsd pricing?

#18 8 years ago

Wow!! Who did you buy it from and how did they happen on it?

#19 8 years ago

You see something new every day. Amazing find.

It's a great game. The best of the super simple but uber addictive games IMO, more or less because of trying to stack all three MB's for the sweet "thiiiiiirrrrrrrttttyyy million" per shot. It looks fantastic, as the ramps and buildings give a really deep feel to the PF.

EDIT: oh, and great find, thanks for posting, and thanks for uploading to IPDB too!

Very interesting, thanks for the pictures. Sharp looking rats hole! Are the flips shorter length? Seems like they might be even though I don't see the lightning design.

#23 8 years ago

Flips are standard length, but would be cool if they were short with no lighting on top. Game was given to a Williams employee as they normally did with the early versions and we purchased it from a family member. They said it hadn't been played in 15+ years.

I heard the prototype BSD machines have no reflection. Try holding a mirror up to it and let us know.

What a rare find. Lucky dog!

Unbelievable, unplayed for 15 years! Just a gem waiting to be discovered. They must not have known what they had.
