I don't like LEDs for the most part (flickering, strobing, ghosting, and cold color temperatures are the main reasons) and if a pin isn't on for hours a day everyday, its probably going to make little to no difference in most cases. I did put red LEDs in the matrix of my DW though—got sick of pulling the subway ramp every time I needed to replace a bulb.
