Prospector Credit relay (resized).jpg
#1 3 years ago

I have a Prospector by Sonic that will not start a game with the start button. One side of the start switch has 30v AC and the other side 16v AC. I am able to start a game manual by hitting the credit relay. And yes the game shows credits on it as well. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Make sure both bonus steppers (gold and silver) are at the zero position and the corresponding switches are adjusted correctly.

Here's the Credit relay circuit.

You'll have to work through the switches with test leads or a multimeter to figure out which one isn't closing. If your coin lockout coil is active that means that the first two switches on the left (Reset relay and Score Motor Ind. A) are working.
