I quoted another poster recently, and it showed up as if I quoted myself. See example:

I was able to fix it manually. It seems that the quote button was not assigning the right post number to the quote. I went in manually and changed the post number in the block quote through the edit function.
I should note that I was using a desktop with Windows 7 and Chrome. The problem seemed to be the wrong post number starting the block quote. I see from other threads that others have had this problem. Sorry I didn't take a screen shot.
I hope this problem is resolved now? I'm still working on being able to quote something quoted and then get proper attribution to the one who made the post and not the one who quoted it.
As a workaround for that issue, I'm now not allowing quoting of a quote. It will instead grab the post content that was holding the quote.
I hope that makes sense
Quoted from jfesler:Nokoro: Please mark this as "resolved" if things are working as expected now. Thanks!
Testing. If this works, I'll mark as resolved. Though, it only happened to me once to begin with. I saw others had the problem as well. Thanks for fixing it Robin!
