    Quoted from dasmb:

Evidence against: New Dave & Busters in our town has 0 pinball machines, about a half games that are essentially giant cell phone games.
Not everybody wants to drive to Pittsburgh twice a year to play pinball. Pinball will be surging when you can actually go and play new or well refurbished pinball in modest markets. This is just evidence that Papa is rockin' it. As if you needed more.

Right. PAPA has always been top shelf.

What the pinball industry/community needs are people playing pin on location.

If you have playable pin near you, please support your local op.

Are the 400 slots for tournament players only? Can you still come if all you want to do is observe, walk around, meet people, and buy parts/whole pins? Or is that more for the upcoming Ohio show?

you can still go and play pins and socialize. Don't have to be in the tourney for that. Open to the public to play any game that isn't in the tourney. Think there around 200 games open to play for anyone.

There isn't enough wealth in this country for the home market to keep pinball growing at it's current rate.

I would agree. I'd say market saturation is coming.
