Quoted from dudah:Great idea.
the huntership is not realy a new idea, it's just my own version of it, since i liked the plasic edge, surrounding the bottom of the ship, to have a smaller offset than the available mods.
(and ofcourse i don't like to pay $200 for it )
the cannon laser aint a new idea either, again just my own version.
this laser sender is hidden from normal vieuw, inderneith the cannon.
the laser will be ativated for as long as the cannon motor is powered.
this, along with a SHAKER will rock the game!!
here's my shaker.
it's made fully out of stainless steel.
the two weights are ajustable in two positions.
the motor speed will also be adjustable by a switch on the relais.
the shaker will have it's own power supply by a separated trafo, wich also feeds the 12v Led illumination of the coindoor and the display panel.
moving on with the playfield.
for testing i hooked up the inserts + the GI to a 6v adapter.
the playfield is still in the tipper.
not all lights lite up the way they should, due to the complex system of diode's.
for example, i can't get both eyes of the skull to light up at the same time.. and some lights are brighter ten others. but it does not matter for now.
later, when installed in the machine yhey will llight up more evenly.
i'm still trying some different setups and perhaps i need to install some more extra lights in dark area's like the left rear corner.
here are some pics:

Quoted from Malenko:You could put an LED strip..
could give it a go. the plastic is to dark now also.
the cannon also still needs to be lighted.
this will mean pulling more wires and connectors.
well, what needs to be done..
Quoted from xsvtoys:Visiting this thread always makes me sad.
Because, some day, I hope to get a T2 for myself. AND IT WON'T BE THIS ONE!!
no need for tears man. anything is possible.
for the last week (!) i have been applying the black vinyl warning tekst to the backbox.
i started with the smaller decal, with the patents.
since the letters where so d@#* small, i choose to apply the letters and the outer sheet (how do i explain this) in one piece on the cabinet and remove the outher sheet later. this worked well.
IMG_6264 (resized).JPGIMG_6268 (resized).JPGIMG_6270 (resized).JPGIMG_6273 (resized).JPGthen came the larger BB decal.
i also kept all letters and the outer sheet together and sticked them on the cab, since this worked ok withe the smaller one.
but when i tried to remove the outher sheet, it started breaking up at each individual letter.
leaving me pealing each corner, gap and square out with a mini razor blade.
Quoted from Morpheus:after peeling for over 10 hours it turned out this way:
