I have a Centaur I picked up that's easily a project pin. Now, as much as I love the play and artwork of Centaur, I already know I'm going to sell/trade it for a Fathom at some point down the line.

My question to you is, have you found it easier to trade pins after they are restored, or have you had luck trading a project for a project?

Thanks.

Mine is the original 1981 version. It's going to need boards, displays, a playfield swap. The rest of the hardware and wiring are there. I've never heard of someone swapping projects, so I was curious if people do.

Who knows? But that's what's going to happen eventually. I enjoy restorations, but it occurred to me someone who wants a Centaur may not have the kind of cash they go for these days, but might have a Fathom project they haven't gotten to, and don't love as much. That's why I ask these questions. As I said, I was curious if people do trade projects. I've never had that experience.

True enough. I'll have to get some good photos, probably after Xmas. Love those 80 Ballys.
