Hey guys and gals, I've recently acquired a Gottlieb Bank Shot and since restoring it, I've ran into a few problems. I'm REALLY hoping you all can shed some light here for me because I'm at a loss (which doesn't say much since I'm newish to repairing old EMs).

First problem up is the playfield lights fuse. Simply put, the fuse keeps blowing.

A couple of things to note here:

1) Even though there was a slow blow fuse in there, I've replaced it with a 10 amp fast blow fuse. Reasoning is that all fuses inside of the cab indicate slow blow when appropriate and the paper indicator for this particular fuse does not. So in assuming that a regular fast blow fuse is appropriate and using a slow blow may harm the cab.

2) I've noticed that it looks like the power cord was replaced. It appears that everything is soldered correctly, but you be the judge here (pictures are attached)...

3) While attempting to troubleshoot this problem, I've been weirdly able to isolate the issue to (I think) the middle pop bumper. Meaning that, from what I can tell, the forsee blows when it hits and activates this bumper. I've included pictures, from multiple angles of the pop bumper. I can't see anything wrong or anything that looks like it would be causing a short....

4) Schematics are also attached.

What say you all?

I would start by changing the 6 fuse holders. In some pics they don’t look too good.

And if that doesn't work, finding a short in the PF lights can be tough. Inspect each lamp holder to make sure no short contact below / outside of lamp holder. Then look inside each lamp holder to make sure nothing like stray dropped solder inside the holder.
