Hi all,
I have an early Dr Dude (blue apron). I lost the sound, unless I start the machine with a fast ON-OFF-ON sequence. Then it works fine.
Any ideas on what this could be?
Any help is appreciated.
Regards,
Scott

I would start here, if you have not already done so:

Reseat the 20 pin ribbon cable on the both sides.
I didn't realize that you have the WPC version. There is a board in between the cpu and sound board. I have never seen one before as there is only @ 100 units made. This board maybe your problem too. Can you post a good pic of this board?

Wow, The reseating of the ribbon cable worked! Thanks for saving me hours of frustration.
Here is a pic of my sound board as you requested.
