Hi!

I'm a newbie with pinball machines and recently bought a ToM. I have problem that the secret ball lock activates without any ball "falling down the staircase". It happens very often when hitting the magic trunk. Also during multiball you get the jackpot without shooting in the magic trunk hole. I have checked switches but everyhing seems OK.
I also had problem with the trunk rotating and got stucked in the wrong position, I cleand the trunk motor and put new grease in it. Now it seems to work fine, no errors in test or gameplay. But maybe the problem are related in someway.
All help is appreciated.

Think I found the problem. Something wrong with the IR trasmitter/reciever under trunk. It works in test mode but fails during gameplay.

I will try to replace them.
Do you know what the are needed for? It seems to work fine when they are disconnected. The secret lock work, also falling down the staircase work.
