Only 800 made! An iconic sister pin of Big Shot and Hot Shot, Pro Pool is a legendary and addicting EM by Gottlieb from 1973. Who has one?!

#2 7 years ago

I've been trying to acquire one for quite some time. No joy. I have a Big Shot. Just want the singlet player.

Ah, yeah. I'd like to see who else has one! We got ours from Pinrecue... I think he's had a few Pro Pools on there

I had a pretty nice one for a short time this Winter. Fun game. Got it from a friend, played it for a bit and sold it to another friend.

I have a beautiful restored "PRO POOL" pinball machine. Classic & collectible pin, that is very fun and has addicting game play ... great game!

So now I'm the proud owner of @alexf's old Pro Pool. I bought it from @dirtflipper, who bought it from (I think) @noquarters. It's been getting around!

Pro PoolPro Pool

Fun game, but I'm puzzled by functionality of the 8-ball. The E relay seems to be what holds this feature in place: it energizes when you hit the top center rollover or the center kickout hole. The relay releases whenever the trough switch is actuated and the ball count unit steps down. I looked for an EOS switch on the ball count unit or an NC switch on the trough, but there isn't one. How the heck is the 8-ball relay releasing? There's a schematic taped to the backbox door, but I hate to break the seal on it.

Got a quick question I hope someone can answer. This fuse in the center seems to have failed and the label for the correct fuses here is missing. Anyone know what the correct fuse is?

All three are 10-amp fuses, according to the schematic.
