Working on a gottlieb PRo football. Seem to have it mostly working except when the game goes to game over and I push the credit button on coin door nothing happens ,but if I push the rt flipper button it will still launch a ball and as soon as any point is made ,if I then push the credit button while the ball is still in play it now will work, scores reset and once the ball returns to the trough to be launched again ,it goes to ball 1 on backglass and ready to start a new game ,.otherwise when game goes to game over I can continually play more balls by hitting the rt flipper button ,adding on to score unless I push credit button on coin door then it will reset ,but only while ball is in play.if the ball is in the trough ready to be launched the credit button on coin door will not function. Thanks

The game over lite does go on
the zero position switch is definatley open
If this were the problem or a problem with making proper contact with rivets then would the following happen: when I jaunch the ball when game over is lit and if the ball scores any points as long as the ball is in play ,I can then hit the credit button and all scores will reset to zero and when ball goes back to the launcher ball unit has reset to ball 1
Thanks

I didnt disconnect the wire you suggested I just discovered something else ,when I trip the 10cent coin mech on the front door panal.the ball is launched and the game will reset and I go to ball 1 in play ,I believe wether a point is scored or not .if i trigger the 25 cent coin mech I will just get credits . Does this help?
