Quoted from Boise_D:
After seeing this played in the final bank at Pinburgh, I had to have it. I had been ignoring it on the classified listings for months, but finally drive the 6 hours 1 way for the adoption. It's in great shape, but does have a few issues, maybe this group can help? The ball does not kick very far out onto the playfield. Most of the time it doesn't kick far enough to even play it. One out of every 5 of 6 it will kick out ok, but not great. I think that's happening because the ball doesn't rest completely up against the trough kicker. If I close the switch there to make that happen, then the switch doesn't open very well after it kicks out. Maybe that switch has lost its springiness, and needs to be replaced. Does anyone know the right coil for that kicker, or one that will have plenty of power?
The other thing I've tried is putting 3 inch legs on the back fully up, and feet on the front fully down to maximize the angle. The ball still has trouble resting fully against the kicker. I can reduce that angle later if it's too steep.
Thanks for any suggestions. I'm thrilled to have this wedgehead, and I want to get it playing well, just like I saw at Pinburgh.

Hey! Great story there. Been off pinside a while but wanted to see how this tread was doing. I am glad to see the love for the machine. But as far as the issues go, I had lots with like. Just recently traded it for a super star, pro football was my first machine so it’ll be special to me for sure. But with your issue, I seemed to have that one as well many times, usually if one thing goes wrong another few things will as well. I posted a lot on here with my issues and I think there might be a tread I made that talked about a issue with it not launching very far if you wanted to look it up you might find your answer in one my old treads. Since it’s a prototype it’s gonna have some weird things like that. But good luck!
