Gloom, despair, and agony on me
Deep, dark depression, excessive misery
If it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all
Gloom, despair, and agony on me
More machines are going to be released than ever with incredible innovation and quality, all at a much lower price than ever seen before, significantly expanding the home collector market!
I’m a glass half full kind of guy.
well the good thing about the bubble bursting is that the value of all machines should go down somewhat evenly. So a trade is still a trade, and a sale should still fund the same % of another machine. Only reason to worry if you're in this as some form of financial investment. In which case, you deserve to lose your money.
Too early to tell, on the bubble. It'll happen one day, but the home collectors are like a sponge. we've been absorbing classics and NIB, like crazy. I've still got room, and there are 12 or more classics I'm looking for nice copies off.
It's just that pins are thin on the ground in Socal, almost all my classics came from friends, who had friends selling. Its who you know, out in the freek kingdom.

Yep, I check my 25-100mi radius filter maybe 2-3 times a week, nothing to write home about
Been hearing that since AC/DC when ya could get a LE on preorder for under 7. Now almost 10k. And they keep selling
There do seem to be some really strange pricing anomalies out there.
You would think that Stern would need to address something like the coil stops or NEW (less than a few weeks old) heavily dimpled playfields.
Also seems that people who don't have many pins bitch about the price and talk about how everything is overpriced just like people who have fifty pins talk about how the price will never go down.
Who knows?
I have noticed more machines available now than say, in Jan/Feb 2020. (At that time I had ONE pin. Now I have six. I suspect that means that either people hoarding machines are selling now in anticipation of a price big drop or they need the money more than the machine now).
I keep several thousand in cash and my truck gassed up but its going to be a little later.
Expect deals a few weeks before Christmas instead of the other way around.
Killer Projects will rear their ugly head mid January.

Land = Toad
Water = Frog
Duplicate thread as this was posted last year...the year before that and every year before that. Can trace it back to BP (Before Pinside).

March them up the temple of doom...rip out their still beating hearts to appease the gods
Better yet, have Levi blastem with his guitar jams. Extra high frequency....
Quoted from ectobar:Also
Land = Tortoise
Water = Turtle
So
Toads & Tortoises
v
Frogs & Turtles
Who you got?!
My bet is on the Crocodiles & Alligators!

Yeah! Got that pepperoni pizza last night! It was as good as it looks. Also had buffalo wings as an appetizer and gelato for dessert. Whole family loved all of it. The place is called Pizza Rock. Right behind the Fremont in Downtown Las Vegas.
