Any ideas what to pay for a "Taxi"? Very nice PF with no ball tracks.
Head is chipped on one side. Pretty bright cabinet. No hacks. No topper.
Thank you for your time,
Milt

That's alright John, don't think about it too much - it's pie in the sky price anyway. I got a better than average Marilyn for $900 - and mine has the topper. If I thought I could really get $1400 for it right now, it might be on the chopping block. The problem is too many of my friends and family love Taxi, and so do I. Asking for $1300 to $1500 is a heck of a lot different than actually getting it.
I got $1900 for mine last year.
Was a Lola in very nice original condition. I don't think the price is out of line from the description, but pics would tell a better story.
Chris
I got a buddy looking for a below 1k taxi if any one has one in the chi area.
Im gonna say you are looking at 1200-1500 like the others have said depending on condition.
$1400 might even be high for a decent Taxi. 9 hours left:

Never sold, overpriced at $1400.
and there are (2)Marilyn's seeling for 2K and 2.6K....they did make less of these, but I wouldn't pay that much for different colored hair and a name change
Quoted from MNpinballplayer:For a good Taxi it's about 1700 - 2300. Don't let people low ball your pin at 1200-1400
Because there was such a huge fight for Ebay $1400 Taxi. Not one single bid from anyone anywhere within driving distance, or a bid from someone who would pay shipping. A nice Taxi is not a deal at $1400.
I should have jumped on the nice one selling pre-allentown for $1400 but was a bit slow to pull the trigger.
Ah well, the search continues.
Taxi has really jumped in the last year. I've had offers $2,500+ for mine, but will not sell.

I sold mine for less than 1400

Given current market conditions $1500 max, and it better look like it came out of the box. $2500 is insane.
