What if AFMr is $7k?
No doubt a nice original is better than a remake. But it won't stop potential buyers from saying "...but I can get a BRAND NEW one for less!" I would argue that the value of true beat-up originals suffer least because there's always people with less money and more time who are happy to put parts and labor into bringing back a beater.
