I have the opportunity to pick up a Gottlieb Lawman, a high-on-my-wishlist game. Looks to be very good condition - not excellent, but nice. Did a bit of research here but am coming up empty. Reasonable price to pay expecations??

Thanks in advance..

Hi amalongi
I live in Switzerland, may talk about prices in Switzerland. I add to Your question "reasonable price for a Lawman" my question: What do american pinsiders think of the lists of "bostonpinball.biz" ?

For a discussion in an german forum I looked around - found this https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/want-to-buy-fun --- clicked on the right on the link and landed here :

I would say $400-600 depending on condition

Lawman is high on my Wishlist and I just missed out on one in Indiana that sold on EBay and was within a 2 hour drive for me.

It sold for $1,175. It looked to be in good but not excellent condition. I’ll see if I can post the former link. Hope that helps.

Great to see Rolf on here again too.

Here’s the link. I was willing to go to $1000 and didn’t think he’d get full price but according to the seller he did. Good for him.

Thaks for sharing. That ebay machine looks nicer than the one I was looking at. Seller listed it for $1500 and has several buyers willing to pay full asking price. I told him to go for it - too rich for me on this machine. Really would prefer a Quick Draw anyway. Thanks all!

As far as price? Depends on where you live.

However...........This playfield design is "Tried-n-true," meaning, must have earned well in its day, (with its 10 drops on 1 side and that ever popular playfield-long bagatelle on the other), well enough to repeat the design with "Atlantis" (a single player version which gets a lot of notoriety with EM collectors). I'd expect to pay more than the average multi-player game for this one.

Hi, Rolf,

I've enjoyed your posts whenever I see them on Pinside.

My opinion on BostonPinball..........Is good only for just a guide. Sales are all auction settings and most people, I've found, avoid engaging in bidding wars. I used to deduct 25%, (+, -), from the listed BP site to get me in the ball park for my general area, but it's been a while now since I've been flippin'.
