IMHO, the value would be determined by the condition, regardless of the run. Some playfields had registration issues, while others had poor color saturation. Expect to pay a premium for a perfect example.
I recently had two HUO LOTRs side-by-side (2003 & 2005) and there was very little difference between the two. The 2003 had slightly deeper cabinet colors, but the playfields were nearly identical. I kept the 2003, since it was a first run and had fewer plays.
$5200-6000 is pretty accurate. There was one for sale last week on Pinside for under $5K. WA state?
