Thinking about selling my Cyclone to free up a bit of space. and was wondering how much I should list it for.

It does need a clean up and a new rubber kit installed (I have one, but didn't get around to installing it).
Not much wear, and functional aside from a few GI lamps that need replacing.

I'm based near Los Angeles if that makes any difference to value.

Thoughts and recommendations appreciated.

Keep it , get it shopped … and waxed .. sell blood to pay bills .. or sleep on the couch and get ride of the bed if you need space .. game is worth keeping ..

I’m in the market for a Cyclone in the midwest. Beat up ones going for $3k. Shopped / refurbed for $4000 to $4500.

Thanks.
How much does shopping out a game like this typically cost?

#5 2 years ago

Are you trying to pay someone to shop it with the hopes that it will add value? If that's a yes then don't worry about it and just sell it. Shopping it by "replacing rubbers and cleaning the PF" will NOT add much value, if any. Just about anyone paying the going rate for it will be able to do that on their own and most would actually prefer to do it on their own.

Around 3K... sounds about right to me. Possibly a tad more these days. But once you get up to 4K or more, honestly... I would say it needs a nicer PF than this and new CPR backglass to reach that level. It's a good game but, I can think of 50 other titles for which I'd sooner pay 4K.

Three manuals seems like overkill.

This thing would be gone is minutes for 3k in the east. System 11s are hot.

PF looks decent enough. No idea about cab or electronics condition.

I'd list 4k obo with this market.

Ones for parts.

That seems close enough to me.

It is in LA. Only Midwesterners and Eastcoasters are paying the system11 nutball prices? Possibly if shipping it worldwide, maybe you could even get more than 4K if you offer to pallet and pack it. Maybe you could even get a Nigerian to give you more than you are asking for it.

Outside of Whirlwind and maybe a couple other titles like EATPM, I don't know many looking to spend 4K+ on some not amazing condition system 9/11 games... If anyone wants all mine, just let me know.. pickup only.

Shopping was if I was going to keep it, not shopping it to add value.

I also have a Whirlwind (funny that should come up) which I absolutely want to keep, but that is partially torn down at the moment and I haven't had the energy or motivation to do the PF touchups, clean, and reassemble it, which was another reason I was curious about the cost of shopping a machine.

Guys that have no patience and have a pocket full of loot from their last sale.

So what is my CPR playfield swap game worth? Thinking of changing up the lineup.

Cpr silkscreen not direct print playfield
Cab touchups
Original boards fixed by Chris Hibler
Nvram
Tumbled metal
All mechs rebuilt
New rubber / plastics
New oak side rails
Black powdercoat
Upgraded speakers
