What would be a fair price for a HUO AC/DC Pro with shaker motor and Pin Pac audio jack for headphone? I have someone interested in mine... thanks in advance for your advice!
Quoted from Fast-Ed:3,600.00 plus your extras. Everyone knows that acdc is a 3,600.00 game. Ed
Thing is, it's not really a joke anymore, it really is a $3600 game.
Quoted from snyper2099:You can still buy them new for less than 3500.
Care to elaborate? I'm in the market for one, and am having a hard time finding a used on locally.

Not that I don't believe you, but could you p.m. me where these deals can be found? Last I checked Stern raised the prices on these a little. I was checking around and getting shipped quotes anywhere from $4,300 - 4,500.
The used value does not seem to be great though (3,600). That said, I would love to have one someday.

In the market as well, id sure like one for <3500
I couldn't find a used one either, hence my inquiring on new.
Obviously, below 3500 would be cash only pickup price (from my experience). A "shipped" price of 3800-4200 sounds about right last time I checked (3 months ago).
Sorry if the prices have gone up 500+ because of the Stern price increase, but I thought that the price hike was like April of last year? That wouldn't match up with the quote I got in OCT. last year.
I can't call out a source and have no idea of the current availability. However, one week before the Chicago Expo last year, within two phone calls and 5 mins time, I found one NIB for less than 3500 and one NIB slightly above...
Then again, Tron's were like 4K then and now they are much more.
My apologies if that's way off from other's experience.
As an ACDC Pro owner, I would put the value at high 3's for HUO at the moment, primarily because the ACDC game (Pro/Premium) seems to be (no official numbers here) one of the most produced Stern titles in the last 7 years (possibly of the last 15 years???) and the market is flooded with all the different variants of the game. In 3-5 years and longer, long after Stern has stopped making them, I'm sure the price will go up. Feel free to laugh at me, but I see ACDC (overall, not singling out Pro or Prem or LE variant) as this era's Addams Family (flooded market back in the 90s, now it commands a premium to own a good example of one). ACDC seems to be uber popular, everyone loves the game, all the collectors seems to have one, lots of locations that have pinball seem to grab one (and Stern keeps making them, seems like ACDC has been on the line fairly regularly since it released 2 years ago) . Market is flooded, as such the price remains low. Wait a few years and the price will most likely climb.
But yeah going back to your original price check, I'd say Pinside price on a Pro is maybe 38ish, add a few hundred bucks on top for shipping.
People also don't like the Pro as much as the Prem cause of the face and perceived inferiority, even though the rules are all there and it's an amazing game in its own right (and Aurich's decal really improves the look in that department if you don't like the original face). Again, in a few years price will prob go up, but for now the price is low.
Oh and OT but to the original poster, if you're a local, feel free to come to my IFPA tourney in a week and a half, we can discuss this further

I agree with pretty much everything you stated. I have a little inside info to add, AC/DC IS the highest produced Stern ever. While I don't have exact numbers, it was recently announced to Stern employees that AC/DC production had far exceeded any other Stern pin.
